if his actual non fuckable family shows up, just come up with some Rumpelstiltskin bullshit that the actual family had to give up his firstborn male child to them or something :)

probably would be very hard to change a core element of the story like this so I understand if you don't go through with it, specially with the risk of this being invalidated completely. On the bright side, we shouldn't have a new version for the next two years :BootyTime:

Only 2seconds of Helen scene :(, After playing last update & waiting for 2 years i thought we would get huge Helen scene.
Disappointing update.

Well, from a writer´s standpoint this is an unmitigated disaster! I am just a hobby writer, but if I delivered such a load of rubbish bin content, my readers would flay me alive - and rightly so! The characterisations have gone of the rail, events not fitting any longer, stupidity all around.
I still cannot get over the fact that Ocean tries to sell us Willi cares about the "family" enough to return. Helen is ar least partly (currently unclear if she ordered it directly) responsible for the death of William´s parents, he knows about and later on Helen abandoned him in prison and even glated about it. And now Ocean wants us to believe he returns to Wollust because Helen became mute?o_O(n)

Ocean is obviously telling us: I made a rewrite which is an offer the fans cannot refuse! (Godfather theme plays in the background)

The correct answer to this is easy.

It's just that the ocean goes crazy with its demons in its head, follows the rules of those sites where it is not published, it is necessary to check whether Berlin is stormed by the Soviet army. If WIAB fails in the sale, who do you think he will blame))

This game just doesn't work without a patch. Summers Gone worked out fine after the changes, because it only affected one character and basically altered nothing about the plot.

With this though, way too much of the plot revolves around the family dynamic and relationships. Any tension that happens just gets destroyed by the "roommate" shit. It's just annoying and destroys any sense of immersion.

If no patch then just change the MC to be a childhood friend of the family or some shit, cause the roommate thing is just the VN equivalent of "what are you doing stepbro?!".

I'm not mad at Ocean or blame him for the changes, cause he's at the mercy of these sites, but It's just so jarring for the tone and story this game has.

It is never presented as a rule of Helen, but something imposed by Giuseppe and his associates; since William points out that if they were to know, he would be done for.

You can make a universe like Romeo and Juliet and it can be quite cool but in a form like now it really looks like a rabbit pulled out of a hat

I'm really starting to have flashbacks and similar feelings like in the 2000s with Prison Break everything looks like a result of improvisation written on the knee

From what we've seen it makes no sense that Donna Helen and her "family" weren't wiped out long ago.

So I'm a tad confused about all the "new" content with this update? I reloaded my last save, which was at that one scene in the bathroom stall with your GF while everyone else was waiting at the dinner table. And it ended fairly shortly after that. Didn't feel like anything really new was included. Do I need to restart to see the new content because it's actually earlier in the storyline or something?
