The more I think about it the more of a mess the story is going to get since it's treading in to the Mafia scene. Ocean is going to have to whiteboard criminal empires and how each interfamily relationship works and even the law enforcement investigations. If not and you just wing it it's going to quickly become apparent how little forethought went in to it. Not even mentioning relationships with LI that William is going to have to form within said mafia empire shenanigans if this game wants to keep putting the A in AVN.

I don't even want to think about how much rewriting will need to happen in SG because of something that gets added to WiAB down the line. With updates taking as long as they do I'm finding myself less and less excited for the updates. Going to be 20 years before the Oceanverse is done since there's supposedly another game to make as well and that's hilarious to think about.

Almost forgot to reply to this: I also like it. It's not the same but it has better internal logic than other compromises migh have resulted in. I think it lays a great foundation for an adult crime series where the focus is not the sex even though there is sex.

I mean, keeping the old story, once Willi and Leia are twins, what drama's left to uncover? the crime plot line. We'll the IC stuff is over and done, lets get on with the crime drama I guess? Works for me. The IC thing can't last 28 chapters or whatever it is without feeling forced, ar ortificially drawn out. This, action drives forward. Willi being chaotic, the chess references etc.



Maybe not in th next 2-3 years, but over the life time of the development, Steam anf GOG are bound to change.



Katie is adorable in the update. But I'm also suprised by how much more I appreciated Miru in this update. And Leia's not someone I'm interested in, but damn her character went leaps and bounds into cooler territory. Zoey also surprised me, especially when Willi gets the chance to lick her pussy. Dana's great too - I also like that Zoey gives Willi crap for dry humping her.

Out of reacts but again, pretty much nailed what I'm feeling too. There's a LOT of potential for this toactually simplify the plot transitions to SG in my opinion, and it's become much more of a unified concept.

I do get the disapointment of subs who subbed purely for the nudge nudge wink wink side of things, but the world is getting more regulated, not less.

Also, Ocean as a dev, as he gets older, will he want to be known as the dev of IC games to his family? People forget that devs have real lives. It's not just anonymous internet things. Ocean might have rethought the personal consequences of the story he's been writing, not just the headaches of finding ways to keep subs on platforms, but the real issue of the sideways glances at his family meets.

Games/AVNs aren't all there is in life.

Too be completely honest, Is a better end result than I hoped for. He either had to went full incest or drop it. For what it is now, I think it is the best that it could be. But is crazy the tonal shift that this update has. We got 3 chapters of family drama, of the roles this people played yesrs ago. Their mistakes and shortcomings. I trully thinks we missed something there, not because incest but tbe weight of it all.

That said I liked the new direction to the stoty but you can feel the shift in this update and that is something that I will take a time to adjust too.

Yeah agreed. I think it'll settle into place around the next update. Ocean'll focus on getting SG out now, and making sure it's consistent with WiaB, then we move forward, he'll polish WiaB while it's in Early Access.

There was a "commission" and it was just engaged in resolving disputes and wars, wars are bad for business, and they didn't decide who would marry whom, and then we got the mediocre version of GoT, but even there the family decided with whom to marry, you see, he even wrote nonsense in this that we need to accept.

I think he really need tk ajust early scenes. Make William more suspicious of Dylan and Helen, make them more distant. The tone difference is huge and is my only complain about the how the solver the issue, is really better than I hoped for. But just drop it all, don't make references to Helen as a mother or something like that. Make their relationship one born of necessity and practicality not love , and tone down Katie bully, she can't have be bullied as hard if she was the blood child. Still there is a couple of plot holes but much less than if he have tryed have is cake and eat it too. I loved the William mirror scene, but I hope that his shame over Leia also os tonned down. All in all. Good update.

I understand what you're saying, but I only half agree with you. I also don't like these streamers (either right or left). One side hides behind people of color, gays, etc. as a shield to hide their failures, and the other side sees only this as a red rag to a bull, not noticing the real problem - censorship and political correctness.
