I think he really need tk ajust early scenes. Make William more suspicious of Dylan and Helen, make them more distant. The tone difference is huge and is my only complain about the how the solver the issue, is really better than I hoped for. But just drop it all, don't make references to Helen as a mother or something like that. Make their relationship one born of necessity and practicality not love , and tone down Katie bully, she can't have be bullied as hard if she was the blood child. Still there is a couple of plot holes but much less than if he have tryed have is cake and eat it too. I loved the William mirror scene, but I hope that his shame over Leia also os tonned down. All in all. Good update.

I'm sure it will happen as he builds the next couple of chapters, then a final continuity polish at the end of season one. I think right now, he's just been focusing on getting the story clearly away from the danger territory. My guess is he'll extend the changes to SG S1 with pure script rewrites for simple changes, because there won't need to be many, if at all, but he might simply for clarity, then make sure of all the changes in S2Ch1, then go back and polish Ch1-4 WiaB while doing Ch5.

I think I'm enjoy this a lot more, I like this kind of tension more than the way it was before.

I wonder if this will be part of the plot in the future, namely the family's attempt to somehow force William into a marriage of convenience and somehow set him and Miru apart?

That seems legit to me, not to set him and Miru apart so much as neutralise his potential chaos. At the moment the Zanes don't have any family to accuse of the interference, and Leia's the one who will get the family and the Asanos in trouble. So by Willi returning he's now in a precarious situation where he has to face judgment... but who got Leia to call William back? Emilio and Riri. What's their stake? And who is the mole the fed's have at Leia's? Riri or Emilio spring to mind. But it could be any of the girls, that would be easiest.

Honestly, one of the many disappointments is the lack of options to make clear the lack of interest towards Leia.
Since I expect the "but she got depressed because of William's abandonment" all very sad but then she decided to become a monster.

I didn't play but Leia seems to be central to the story, you won't be able to avoid a core character, and the sexual dynamic is obviously a driving force too for the plot (it's a porn game). Writing an entire route without her just because people don't like her seems like a lot of work for little benefit, this only works if her relationship with MC has no impact in the others, and I don't think that's the case.

Sorry if the assumption is wrong, it's what I gathered from your comment and what I have played previously. Won't be able to play for now, not until some hero updates the patch.

I have to be honest I loved quinn from the college game but hated that she did 180.

Not everbodys cup of tea but I think leia was great this update and kinda want her to go after miru because she hates mc gf ... but miru is still my fav if daphne dosent dethrone her

Unless the family relationship completely breaks the story now, I've seem fan patches in games that didn't even had it at the beggining, don't underestimate the fans. With that said, if in a year there is not one I'll suck it up, no problem.

I hope, WiaB can't have the luxury of being the mess that is SG S1. I don't think that I will like it more, because I liked how personal it all felt before, but I think is something that I can like. But futher change will be needded, I don't even think this is the chapter 4 that he had in mind 2 yesrs ago, is a soft reboot where the first 3 chapters don't is fully fitting in with the rest, with would be fine if we have 10 insted of 4, maybe this was one reason to make it bigger, get things better set up.

Without remaking the first three chapters it will always feel off. From the first chapters you should feel that you are entering a mafia family home and meanwhile you have the impression that it is a standard family from some Texas and here boom surprise Italian Mafia and your girlfriend is not just a regular street smartass but a full style sociopath from Yakuza. Zane employs two people in a car repair shop where their entire criminal operation is which is worthy of the prestige of the great Donna where all those gangsters who work for Helen and Dylan. The only things we see are Leia's operations.

Summers Gone also needs corrections. All these renders and not a word about the fact that Ayua is basically the daughter of the Mafia, Sasha and her friends probably basically too and maybe even Summer and neither Mila nor Jeff who come from Wollust mention it not a word

deliberations about the origin of roomates were a waste of time because now they can be children of random thugs shot on the street

Both games will not look serious because it will turn out completely out of nowhere that most of the characters come from the criminal underworld without any preparation and thrown in casually as a surprise

You can make a universe like Romeo and Juliet and it can be quite cool but in a form like now it really looks like a rabbit pulled out of a hat

I'm really starting to have flashbacks and similar feelings like in the 2000s with Prison Break everything looks like a result of improvisation written on the knee

Looks like we are gonna have to wait a year to see how things pan out between MC and Dana. She is one fine woman (the finest one for me in this AVN if not Leia) who is in dire need of dicking. There is sexual tension between them but she won't cheat on her passive bf also her telling MC that she wants to be with someone she can have a family with and not some quick fuck.
