If he creates it again, he risks losing it again and more importantly, possibly losing Summer's Gone Patreon as a result. Since SG is how he makes the money to fund both of these, it would nuke them both. Better not to risk it with Patreon.

I don't mind much the wait. The problem is that he is over optimistic, and I kinda get it, he has to be. the problem is that it creates expectative. I have half a mind that SG will be pushed to late 2024 and have 9k plus renders. What is not a problem own its own, it just hurts the game because people expectations and Ocean's optimism.
