Ocean has drastically altered the dynamics between the Zanes, Leia and William are subordinates of the Zane family:
They can't Bully Katie, that concept would have been burned into their souls after the first incident.
Leia shouldn't have that arrogant behavior in her Boss's house at all.
Willy isn't going home to the people who raised him but to a life of organized crime.
William is a deserter they should want him dead not exiled, and it's already strange that they didn't take care of him when he was in prison.

Every family interaction is out of place in the new story because they are not family


I'm starting to feel like Ross "We Were On A Break!"

That is the only problem for me, the first 3 chapthers is filled with shame, longing, resentment in all those characters, not only William, and it worked great. Chapther 4 completely pivot the story. Is not that it can't work, is that it wasn't seted up at all in the early chapthers. Scenes like William seeing Helen again where thought out when she was his mother, same with Dylan, it all feels like the prodigic son coming home and is great. And this update goes against all that.

Helen and Dylan can have a love relationship and feel like he is their son, is hard no to when you raise a child, but a certain coldness and practicality should also be there because they weren’t just a family. And I would drop the marrige plot line, feels really forced to me, just make that the kids thought they were doing something wrong but nobody gave a fuck and let Katie and Leia be just LIs, as is Helen now, William dosen't have second thoughts about fucking her.

- What was the previous direction of the game? The old game was intended as a porn game, after the rework the game was never considered as such and got more heavy on the story side.
- Even old WIAB was a crime story, and post rework it was slightly hinted in CH1 - after Ch2 was no room left for any doubts in this direction.
- Not many games in the genre distributed in this board have this kind of narrative, it could be done better but I have seen much worse here.

Man...what can i say.....after playing this Update...Feeling disappointed might be an massive understatement. This Game strong suit are definitive the Characters. I mean...there isn t any women who i wouldn t wanna bang...All of the Girls are simply stunning and breathtaking and Oceans Render Quality is out of this World....BUT....after 7 (SEVEN!!!!) fucking years of development....i expect a fully fleshed out Game with Tons of Dialogue and TONS (yeah right..TONS) of "sexy Time"! This whole Game feels like a 1930`s Mobster Movie..parked in the Present....and thats it. They are talking and talking and talking....and then at some point...a little teasing and you are thiinking to yourself, yeah man that it..he s finally getting some prime pussy...but oh well oh well...a little groping here and there...and...that it. My problem is that Ocean tossed out the baby together with the bath water! I was with WIAB for the family drama and it´s extensions in the city. It was written as the lost son coming home together with his intended. That there were big problems in the family and some outside stuff was actually the spice. The incest arc with Willi and Leia was a nice, a bit edgy addition, but it was never the main attraction for me. Would have been nice if kept in, esp. for the implications for the SG characters, but no big loss that it is out.
What I resent is the pseudo-Mafia-opera rewrite and how he assassinated the character designs. The Zanes, as far back as old WIAB, had business on both sides of the law, but it was clearly a fact that the legal stuff outsized the illegal by a wide margin. And while they had various problems, big and small, the Zanes were a family - as "new-old" Willi said in WIAB 1, that he often thinks about home and the others and now they finally go there.
Now in "new-new" WIAB, it is strongly implied that Helen raised Willi and Leia only for her own gain, no happy feelings involved and also let Willi rot in prison! It is completely idiotic to believe after being treated like that Willi would have any positive memories and would want to return home. No, everything from the first 3 chapters is not fitting anymore, it was made under the assumption the Zanes were a family, dysfunctional but halfway happy and Willi returning to right old wrongs he left behind and maybe making the family whole again.
The Zanes as of the rewrite are not really a family, simply flat-sharers and hardcore criminals. It is boring and supremely stupid.
I am so pissed off with this trainwreck Ocean made, I will certainly change my signature banners.

for those who complain, i m not (and try to make the same qualtity game maybe your understand who difficulte it is

made this kind of quality game take a lot of time cause renders are long to reached

So this time i enjoyed after a long time we have a real up date, not short at all, renders are above as already, event and animation as well, an advance in the story and a hangig up at the end.


i m juste a little be sad there s no relation yet possible between scarlette and the MC.

i just hope now the dev DO 2 up date per years this game can be great, the dev can if he made asimplification somtetimes of position of people or use same image time to time in different plan, and sometimes just go to the point and the story
and escape some vanillia conversation

Not sure you've heard but Ocean is tinkering with green screen. So expect a remake of SG as an animated movie. Old habits die hard.
