I don't know why it took me this long to connect the dots.

Imagine going with your sister's...wait that's not it...roommate's girlfriend to get a loan from your sister...wait...childhood friend to start a porn business that you're going to stick your girlfriend in.

Then you see your sister...crap...childhood friend and it's this energy:

You mean, he released a game against the guidelines and was surprised Pikachu when the platform started enforcing said guidelines.
Nah, he became the surprised Pikachu when they updated the rules and started to close one AVN after another. He changed the relationship but that didn't help.
Now he learned his lesson and plays it safe. The loud dissatisfied minority could easily be ignored, just read the reviews on Steam.
This is exactly the reason I can see him going back to SG and completely removing Nami as a LI. No matter how you slice it, two children raised under the same roof for 15 years, by a single Noji, will always be perceived as siblings, judges signature or not (Ocean thinks stating they aren't legally adopted is going to save him :KEK:)
Why would he? Nami and Nika are the other victims of the mafia wars in Wollust, not related to each other. :KEK:
There is nothing of the siblings in them. Nami is red.

Nika and Nami are two children, raised from the age of 3 to the age of 18 by the same maternal figure. Blood or not, adoption papers signed or not, they have been raised in the same family unit. Step siblings is also forbidden by Patreon.

I'll let Ocean deal with it. Poor i-mods users... :giggle:

So is Landlady/Tenant where it's long-term since childhood. They see through that shit writing, too.

We've seen how he handles potential landmines, just rework it.

As I've said, it's not about the incest. It's the constant shifting of the story, so much so that it makes it incomprehensible and disjointed.
I can only speak for myself. In case of WiAB disjoined and idiotic was the old version.

The new chapters 1-3 were good, but I didn't quite get where this was heading to. It felt like another slice of life story, only Leia's club and Fred's farm were a bit out of line and disturbing. But who cares how people make money, right? In some games, they run a brothel with student prostitutes right on the college campus grounds, using dorm bathrooms as gloryholes.

With Chapter 4, everything that came before in the new WiAB made sense in the light of the new information that was revealed about the criminal families, their confrontation, and the characters' place in that structure. Their actions now have motivation and reasons, and the dialogues - meaning. I like it.

Chapters 1-3 were good, it was hinting at the upcoming criminal underworld which William seemed reluctant to get involved in. It kinda led us to believe we would be helping Joe fight back against the Krayt gang (which, in turn helps Gina), only for this update to come along and say "Fuck it! Donna Leia of the Cannelloni family wants all the criminals in Wollust to gather around the firepit and sing kumbaya."

Also, William leaving for worry of what the family would do to him, yet on return he seems to think exile is the worst case scenario. :WaitWhat:

Princess Leia is going to destroy the peace and quiet in Wollust by starting sell firearms. So there will be no Kumbaya. Except for that, yeah, something like that.

Although I don't understand where all the surprise comes from. Both in SG and in the old WiAB there were tons of hints that things weren't that simple with these families. And that they weren't exactly families of good Samaritans, but some kind of strange clans or semi-criminal syndicates. Now that the clarity has been brought in, suddenly the oohs and aahs have started: oh, it's the mafia, what nonsense.

William, well, he's not known for his rational thinking in any situation and cold prediction of his actions. So, the fear of punishment from the Zanes that kept him from returning was probably a bit exaggerated. Quite in line with his character. What's wrong?

I don't think any of it was fear of the mafia punishment. It was fear of facing Leia, Helen, and Katie after being away for years, and with the way he left. He was ashamed of running. The longer it takes, the harder it gets, and jail made it take longer.

Well now we know the only potential child of William is Ayua, I can see Miru already being pregnant, Giuseppe having William killed and WiaB wrapping up there...

Easy out for Ocean(y)

I thought they said at the book club that both Leia and William are alive and well?
