As far as canonising - if I chose a Katie ending, Ayua still has to come from somewhere, so it becomes a mini-harem canon. It's possible to avoid Miru so far, but at some point there has to be some kind of explanation. If you are with Katie, is Dylan then Ayua's dad? Lucas? And if you're with Miru, Ayua is Willi's? At some point there will be some things that are canon that people don't like for their own playthrough.

I think Ocean will give the players a "X" number of endings on Wiab but the game will have a single canonical ending that serves Summer's Gone plotline. In my mind it's the easier way, maybe in some other kind of minor choices he will let players choose what choice they made in Wiab to affect something in SG. And since the 2 games are running together theres no way to let major choices in Wiab affect early choices in SG anymore.
I also think Ayua has a pre-determined father (imo William) since changing fathers would need to have major changes to the relationships, since characters dynamics would change a lot, even more considering the optional NTR in Wiab.
Unless he will not work the families angle on SG that much and will give only the No-NTR or the yes-NTR option, with Ayua and her sisters (yes, we need to remember she has sisters) being William's daughters on the No-NTR option, and with Ayua being NTR (or open relationship) offspring and her sisters being from William, with him and Miru ending up together on both, but this could affect Ayua's storyline.... but honestly? I dont think Ocean will go for it, in my mind he will not put any kind of direct or indirect NTR on Summer's Gone.

It WiaB is going to have standard endings (a Leia ending, a Katie ending, etc) then it's extremely hard for SG to do anything with WiaB. What happens to people that shun the entire family and gun for Dana exclusively? Suddenly no one in SG can be offspring of Will+x because someone didn't choose that choice and will complain.

Ocean could always have Will knock someone up forced style but that's probably not an ideal solution. Not knowing where WiaB is going to stop in relation to SG doesn't do it any favors either. Using the Dana example, imagine if you're with Dana for as long as possible but then in the black screen between the two stories we get a bunch of canon about what Will did.

Wait...how so? Remember that it's the first year of college for the SG crowd. Which makes them 17-19 (by legal reasons we know they are all 18+). The time frame between WiAB and SG is roughly 20 years. Which still gives Miru a whole year or more to be impregnated with Ayua. As for her possibly older "sisters" they could very well be "mafia sisters" for "mafia reasons" with no blood relation whatsoever.

Yeah, theres many possibilities on it depending on choices, i dont even think its smart to touch this matter because it changes too much stuff, example:
Imagine if Miru is already pregnant...then would be crazy all the pornstar stuff, open relationship, NTR...everyone would be filling Miru while Ayua is there, she would be a chimera
If shes not pregnant theres possibilities like,
Ayua and her sisters are someone's else offspring, but it was after MC and Miru broke up.
Ayua is William's, but he and Miru broke up and her sisters are from someone else.
Ayua is someone's else, MC ended up with Miru and knows it. (open relationship + MC cuck), her sisters are MC's daughters.
Ayua is someone's else, MC ended up with Miru and doesnt know it (NTR), her sisters are MC daughters.
Ayua and her sisters are William's.
And with the open relationship stuff even her sisters could be from different father or whatever.
If William ends up with Miru but is also with Katie or Leia, or both and this goes into SG's plot, players will want a harem ending in SG too.
Too many different stuff for the crybabies to complain.
But if its only for some dialogue flavor or minor stuff it can work imo.

It seemed to me that Emilio and Riri were worried because Leia is selling weapons without the families knowing and approving.

I simply stated what I though Ocean was doing to slowly reveal the Zane empire. I never claimed it made sense. The fact remains that the story so far (primarily from Willi's perspective) portrays the criminal enterprises as owned by Joey Arano (with Leia running them in his absence), while Dylan/Helen seem to be background participants. Then we get to an FBI board that portrays a Zane family criminal empire.

Re: the guns. Emilio/Riri are stated to have forced Leia's hand to get Willi back because they believed her bitterness over him was making her reckless (I presume they figured she needed to confront that bitterness). Emilio/Riri also see arms dealing as reckless because (they claim) the weapons are more easily traced back to them.

As to Leia's bold and reckless behavior - she's seemingly ambitious and I wonder if her motivations are partly revealed in the flashback of her with her uncle playing chess. Her uncle instructs: "There's a solution to every situation. If a situation is entrenched and unlikely to change on its own... You introduce chaos."
