Where It All Began [S1 Ch.4 Fix 1 Steam] [Oceanlab]

NOTE: Here is the Steam update from 7-11-2025, he said more fixes "soon" but it's been a few days, so I'll go ahead and push this. I'll add a note on my compressed post when I have it updated, but it will be sometime later today, currently compressing another game and will take some time to do it. Also, I guess Ocean doesn't like version numbers either, as it just says: define build.name = "WiAB-Chapter4". So, since the update is titled fixes 1, guess I'll go with Fix 1.

Changelog:
- Fixed a few renders.
- Fixed a ton of spelling and grammar errors throughout the game. (More to come.)
- Rearranged some renders.

Previously, I added an outline to the text to make it easier to read.

Either Ocean regrows his lost balls, man´s up and hopes he can finish WIAB and SG before SS or Steam might come down on him (if ever) and restores the incest so he can keep Kati, Leia, Helen and Co. love interests.
Or other option is restoring the Zane family unity and losing Kati, Leia, Helen, etc as love interests but have a coherent main storyline instead of the quirled rubbish he tries to feed us now.

I am for restoring the Zane family, filling out 80-90% of the existing plotholes and logic failures in one sweep, even if it means losing them as LIs. But that is 10 times better than the drek Ocean currently concocts!

I already offered my opinion on how I would have best handled dumping the incest and continuing without much interruption here.

Alas, not much we can do now that the mafia are involved...

I too already mentioned some ideas how to go on with WIAB and how to handle the cutting out of the "I"-theme.
I have to say it is very rare for me to be this pissed off by a game update here on F95. But Ocean succeeded in bringing out a clusterfuck of incoherent rubbish. So he have to cope with the heat, I normally do not critisie so harshly. But this time it is warranted and to be repeated.
Unlike some of the fappers white knighting here for the pretty pics, I was with WIAB for the storylines too.

I'm here for the story too and was immeasurably disappointed with the update. Not because the incest angle was purged, but because it pretty much establishes the protagonist as an asshole who abandons a girl he loves, with the people complicit in orphaning the both of them. Irredeemable in my eyes.

I won't call people who enjoy the changes "white knights", because they are entitled to their opinions... no matter how wrong they are! :KEK:

I generally enjoyed the update AND I think the MC is a massive asshole (I don't identify with him at all). The MC has pretty much been an asshole from the very beginning, so no surprises there.

He was always smug and full of himself, but in this iteration, him leaving Leia with the Zanes comes across as abhorrent.

No real reason to leave her, but if he took her with we wouldn't have Will find a girl that frames him after a month of dating...

Either the woman is unimportant or Ocean is not telling us her name for a reason. Most likely she is just a plot device though. I am curious as Miru's ex boyfriend, I think there was one in the OG, he worked at the police station and was a opition of NTR curious to see if this version follows the same path or is it a build up to Lucas?

It's a Revera of course. Everyone that isn't known has the last name of Revera until known.

That's some kind of luck to run away from home, trying to keep a low profile, and then get tangled up with a politician's daughter and sent to prison over it.

Wow the story really got fucked up sideways...I came back to this after the initial rework and its a mess.It makes not sense at all with all these no we no related shit and mob crap.Hell i popped the old version and was thinking why the hell Ocean abandoned the original story which it was actually very good.Now i understand all the new low ratings.Ocean always had amazing renders but nowdays thats the only thing he has going on.7 years in the making and still no advancement or story goal.Such a shame..
