If there is one thing I can understand in the entirety of Ocean's development process is the need to delve into a secondary project to prevent burning out on a single title or story. Sometimes ideas and inspiration dry out and switching to another project can keep things fresh for a bit until you're ready to return. Sure it sucks for us but I can see it working out great for him.
Now that Mav's involuntarily away for a bit, I'll take this chance to say I wouldn't mind if WiAB was taken out back and put out of it's misery
Which again, this is the man's livelyhood. Gotta keep that in mind. As much as I despise the changes to both novel's, I understand that sometimes you do what you gotta do.
There are other options besides steam but nah he can't work with 75% income he needs the whole kit and kaboodle. We know for a fact that there are games that have been removed for steam and are making a KILLING on their own website like no mercy but no he wants the general steam income instead of making a good product that would sell through word of mouth.
And yes i donate to various projects multiple times throughout the year but i don't support devs who change their original vision just to make a quick buck. It's scummy, its sleazy and its lazy, hell you guys are lucky to get one update a year.
