I hope he finishes it soon, its gotten long (which is good and love the story) but have a hard time remembering it after so many months.
Elaine has said very little that is clear, because to say at the same time that she has no intention of following the conditions, which would take her away from MC again, and that if MC should not inherit anything she will take care of giving him his share is quite contradictory.she only wants a share of her share (the house). she flat out told mc she won't abide by her condition of cutting ties with him, which seemingly pertains to the money portion, as your screenshot above seemingly pertains to the house portion, which has a separate condition of mc not living there by x date. elaine is the biggest red herring in a pond stocked with them, more guileless than monica.
Well it would take away a lot of the suspense and as such likely falls under plot armor, since devs want to keep her conditions a secret, but if she really trusted MC and would want her to make him trust her she would tell him her conditions or already told themto him even if just as an exchange of information where Mc tells her his conditions. Especially if both are aware the third person knows all conditions, that would make sense if there would be trust to diminish their own lack of information opposed to the third person.Elaine has said very little that is clear, because to say at the same time that she has no intention of following the conditions, which would take her away from MC again, and that if MC should not inherit anything she will take care of giving him his share is quite contradictory.
And also when she asks him to leave her the house anyway, she is clearly referring to something she cannot tell him (Mc thinks about the conditions of the will, and I think so too, but it could be something else).
so Elaine by definition is not a red herring, she's an heiress like MC, who's working hard to get her share (following the will or not) what we don't know is if her benevolence towards him is really sincere. in my opinion there are no characters really antagonistic to MC, but it's my opinion not written in stone
then, I repeat, in Jenna's hacking we discover that the house has to do with the conditions of the will, she asks MC to have the house anyway and that she can't tell him everything, it doesn't seem to me that there is to make particularly elaborate deductions
In my opinion there are two separate aspects: the will and the relationship between the two.Well it would take away a lot of the suspense and as such likely falls under plot armor, since devs want to keep her conditions a secret, but if she really trusted MC and would want her to make him trust her she would tell him her conditions or already told them even if just as a exchange information where Mc tells her his conditions. Especially if both are aware the third person knows all conditions, that would make sense if there would be trust to diminish their own lack of information opposed to the third person.
So her not telling them him or at least offering an exchange of information while we all understand on one hand the plot armor she is working under within game it also does not put her in a way more trustable or trusting light when comes to MC.![]()
Those two aspects can not be fully separated, especially if we are to believe that the turn around of Elaine was partly caused by reading that will condition and we are to assume from a remark that Elaine made that her fulfilling that condition would make MC hate her.In my opinion there are two separate aspects: the will and the relationship between the two.
Elaine may want to get her whole third of the inheritance regardless of how she feels about MC, everyone can benefit from money, and if she really wants to give a part of it to MC, in case the latter is left out of the will, she has to win it for herself first.
even if I consider her 100% sincere, the house is what she wants the most, but for sure she doesn't mind a bit of money to maintain it afterwards.
Mc doesn't reveal his conditions either, why should Elaine?
It's not the MC who's been running after elaine to repair their relationship which she herself destroyed by supporting and abiding that monster he called father. What she did was vile and disgusting so why not reveal her condition as a show of faith if she really wants Mc to like her. In my opinion she is a bitch whose only here for the money(she was with the father for his money) and now the will has something to do with MC so she's being nice to him to get her money. If she can 'pretend' to be a bitch for all these years then she is clearly able to pretend to be nice.Mc doesn't reveal his conditions either, why should Elaine?
She promised him that she will take care of him in case he doesn't get anything from the inheritance, doesn't that count as a first move? Those two aspects can not be fully separated, especially if we are to believe that the turn around of Elaine was partly caused by reading that will condition and we are to assume from a remark that Elaine made that her fulfilling that condition would make MC hate her.
Considering Mc having to tell first, it was not MC that threw Elaine out of her house directly after Dad died and threatened to destroy her stuff after treating her as non-existent person for years.
A first move by Elaine would make all the sense in the world with her knowing their past and yeah that would not have to be an outright telling by her but just an offer to share their information. Even more if both now know the third party knows all conditions. Sure Mc could make that offer as well, but how many reasons does he have to truly trust Elaine, who is holding back a lot of info, amongst others what she is doing with lawyers and has only her word she is also doing it in his interest. Lack of trust of MC makes all the sense in the world.
A promise doesn't mean shit from a bitch like her, she was a bitch to him to get the father money so being nice to him to get her part of the inheritance is nothing for her. Given that the father loved to manipulate and destroy people i bet his conditions for elaine is to manipulate the mc into giving her the house willingly so she is being nice to him.She promised him that she will take care of him in case he doesn't get anything from the inheritance, doesn't that count as a first move?
Elaine can't erase the past, but it seems to me that in the present she is there ready to apologize and to take continual slaps and outbursts, without ever hiding, and then if she really wanted to cheat him she would do much sooner to tell him about the fake conditions than to hide the real ones.
Like the person above me said out of a greater dislike for Elaine as I have, promises are just empty words until you deliver on them and I also said fact she keeps will conditions secret is also needed plot armor since devs are not prepared to reveal them to us players yet.She promised him that she will take care of him in case he doesn't get anything from the inheritance, doesn't that count as a first move?

Either you two are blind by hate for Elaine that you 2 refuse to see all the hints in the game pointing out Elaine her sincerity or you both ignored it dead on when it was presented... multiple times.Like the person above me said out of a greater dislike for Elaine as I have, promises are just empty words until you deliver on them and I also said fact she keeps will conditions secret is also needed plot armor since devs are not prepared to reveal them to us players yet.
The ambiguity is there on purpose, Yes the conversion of Elaine might be genuine and she might indeed intend the best for him overall. Where her choices and loyalty might also be somewhat different in the end if MC is in a relation with her alone or not. (Remember Cheeky said that there would be one or two females that would be cheating MC on every route, that might also imply that some of the other females might do same and betray MC
Agree - And this is planned.Similarly it would be prudent for the MC to get his own Lawyer. And anyone with at least some life experience that hears of his tituation (aka Monica) should tell him to do so. He could easily pay for it with the money he already got. But then this is still an adult game and not ace attorney. Reading an extensive dialog about inheritance laws will just have people complaining.
Unless you want to make that lawyer a hot milf ...![]()
We talking about a Hot milf lawyer right ? Because that is about all I got from that...Agree - And this is planned.
We never said there'll only be one. We just said we don't see a realistic harem end (Harem meaning ALL women staying with MC knowing and happy to share him with ALL other women)Well, just finished Chapter 20.

Anyways, even with how long these chapters are, still enjoying it. Just have to break up the chapters 1 game day at a time. Thank you for this.
no incest in this game.....HI there incest pach please
That is the thing, they do not absolve her, even if they may put her in a better light possibly. Yes talking about the will condition is a risk if that clause is there. The fact the third party had a preview and knows though might make any judge very lenient to you. If a judge would fully uphold a will with that kind of conditions anyway. Besides the idea of trust is that you share it only between the two of you and not go tell everyone.Either you two are blind by hate for Elaine that you 2 refuse to see all the hints in the game pointing out Elaine her sincerity or you both ignored it dead on when it was presented... multiple times.
Fortune Teller : Mother figure, kept apart by reasons of another, trying to make amends, has secret but cannot tell the MC. All that line is NOT about Monica it is about Elaine.
Bella+MC both have talked about Elaine her past character and how she was to the MC as a mother figure until his dad intervened on that and forced her to be cold towards him. She was in love with him or blinded by love by that man how or what no one knows. It has been also mentioned she is now acting more like she was before and trying to make amends. She made promises yes and promises only are worth something if they are kept, actions speak louder then words true. She is willing to go against everything to make sure the MC is set all she wants is the house.
The reason Elaine cannot mention or speak about all her condition is because she is barred from doing so. The Lawyer made it clear that some of the will holders have a clause in them that if they so much as talk about their conditions to other people or to other will holders their part becomes null and void. So she is not taking that risk. Even MC is not taking that risk.
The Fortune Teller and Lawyer have been key in absolving Elaine on so many levels that only blind hate for the character or genuine denial for those facts bars one from seeing that.
