As far as I undertsand it the game has been remastered for Steam because of Patreons increasingly draconian rules.
If a developer is starting to lose money because of those rules they have little incentive to continue, so Steam is a lifeline for them.
The fact that it's here on F95, a pirate site, and free to play is because people upload it here.
I haven't personally seen it on any other game site.

for the first 10 episodes play season 1, then play from episodes 11 to 24 by selecting the option of choose the episode option in the menu.
