Really? I’d be fine with all of them getting down and dirty on my Monica only playthrough. If I’m not involved with any of them then they should be fucking without my MC there. I hope that those of us playing solo LI routes don’t have to sit and watch three women fuck each other for it to happen.
This is the reason I chose to skip this update, too much focus on one scene that some of us don’t care about - three LI out of 12 (?) taking up an entire update with a single sex scene. Just frustrating...
is there a way that i can install e19 if someone can help me it would be a big help and thx in advance

Nah, I doubt it. You have to be on the Katie route to get her interested in anything lesbian related. If you are not interested in any of those 3 I don't think you'll be forced into something once 19 is fully finished. You may still be able to help Debbie get with Lily if you are ok with that but I doubt in that scenario they'd put on a show for you, especially if you haven't been pursuing any of them.
Just weird to think that three people won't be sexual together unless the MC is there. Sex should happen without the MC being present. Katie could decide to experiment with her two best friends, a little alcohol, naked hotness, and a completely private beach house can lead to a lot of things.Nah, I doubt it. I want Debbie and Lily to be happy together but I don't feel that the MC should be required to participate for the two of them to get together.
Overall just unhappy to see an update devoted to one scene that, it seems, many people aren't thrilled with due to how it is handled. Of course it is a beta so it can be changed. For me I think it is a waste of an update to have this 1 giant sex scene.

I think the problem comes down to expectations. We specifically get the chance to express interest in the girls individually, so we assume those choices can matter for those of us who like monogamy. Likewise, we get no option to just flat refuse to invite all three girls to the house, so we assume that the game isn't going to exploit that forced choice to impose an unwanted group encounter on us.I totally understand and agree that IRL those things would need a bit more consideration. But getting the chance to see that unfold in a game, in a fantasy, and then complaining because you want to stay true and exclusive with your one love, kinda baffles me personally. But then there's also people who when playing a video game choose to play The Sims, where you have to go to work, do the dishes, clean the house, etc. so each to their own I guess
That was certainly my expectation, anyway. I figured the sleepover would just be short and anti-climactic (pun not intended) if we picked only one girl and no sharing. The MC would express his concerns when the time came and (depending on his choices) either his relationship would break up or the Debbie/Lily pairing would never happen and everyone would move on as best they could (with an appropriate level of fallout).
It never occurred to me that preventing unwanted group sex would be so convoluted, or that the fallout to the rejection would not be addressed within the episode. Given that the next episode sounds like it's focused elsewhere, we may not get the resolution for a while. I fear leaving all these wounds to fester that way would be an extremely bad idea.

Katie is no help in that regard as she doesn't see either that way and it doesn't even come onto her radar (within the story) unless the MC pushes those "Adventurous" buttons. The MC is just our (The players) way of interacting with these characters. Some things will hit, some things will miss.

Yeah, it's the one thing I feel that they miscalculated with this game. At this point, so late in the development, devoting so much time to one sex scene is unnecessary. The MC/player has fucked every single one of these women solo and now the only reason for the scene is so they fuck each other - there is nothing new, sexually, for the MC/player beyond watching the three of them get together. If that isn't the players kink or the player has the MC on a solo route (with one of them or someone else) this update is filler.Agreed.

Its not really 100% set in stone that the MC has fucked them all. Maybe in your game, or in peoples game that are going after everyone or just this specific route. I know it may not be to everyone's liking but again it was stated that 19 was going to be the 3some/4some and that is just the destination we find ourselves at until we move past it. For those not interested in any of these characters featured I can see why you'd be very frustrated by an episode like this but again, I can't judge something I haven't played yet.

This is the main issue with multiple girls and paths. You stretch yourself too thin and either end up with small updates or whole updates given to one or two girls. Something I'm becoming very concious of myself to try and limit. Surely when starting...you know this is going to become an issue (if your story is already laid out). I'd personally rather see a longer update cycle and get content with everyone per update (if the case of numerous ladies and paths to render).
Either way I guess is a tricky situation to solve/work around, ultimately you will make someone unhappy whichever way you decide to handle it.
As for Wanda, she is in this update btw. I agree with you though on the other girls. Back to my first sentance. Many girls just seemt o be completely forgotten for long periods, which in real life...just wouldn't happen...not even if you were FWB's. However, we also have to try and balance/understand...it seems a hell of a long time for us...in game it's a few days at most isn't it. In terms of realism, if the devs know a characater is going to have no screen time for a number of updates, this could (as one example) be easily gotten around with one render and a couple of lines of text of a phone call saying 'really busy with work, catch you nex week' etc (say for example in Angel's case).

Yeah, which is why I am such an advocate for smaller groups of LIs or solo paths being available early. I won't dare use the Ava signal word as an alternative to having an issue with so many people being unhappy with updates that are devoted to one LI. I'd also rather have longer development time and more content with more characters than shorter with one character...
Balancing the in game time with development time and providing content for all to enjoy is the biggest issue for these games. I don't know that anyone really strikes the right balance.

This is bang on the money. As frustrating as it sometimes feels, I'm guilty of this also since its been a long development cycle so far but in game we've only progressed about 3 weeks I think, so to us we lose perspective on the in game world and story we're following. (A day counter would be a nice little addition at some point, at least for me, I forgot what day we're up to most of the time)

Day counter and how far away from an in-game event. We are told that we have to wait until the finalization of the will but I don't know when that is in the game. Tomorrow or a week?
I'd be interested in seeing a dev create a game with time jumps to correspond with the real time going by. Not for a game with a set up like this but maybe a college game or a game where the MC is older and has a job. It would allow the dev to largely ignore the boring parts of life and focus on the fun bits.

Exactly. I think it was about a month or so until the final will reading in total so we're getting there if we're a little more than 3 weeks in. Bare in mind though, an update could consist of just a day, or a couple so I have no idea how or when the final read is at this point, I'd have to replay fully to refresh my memory.

The catch is that it seems the MC's arrival is what finally pushed Debbie to DO something about her long simmering crush. Now that Debbie is in motion, the MC walking away won't defuse things. The last chance to defuse things was when Katie requested the beach house for the sleepover. Pulling the MC out of the picture now just makes it that much easier for Debbie to work her legendary ninja seduction skills on Lily unimpeded.
If the MC is only interested in Katie, then what happens to Debbie and Lily can be safely left off screen. But if the MC is only interested in Debbie or in Lily, ignoring the issue is a glaring omission.
I'm largely in agreement with you, but I do think there are two important things to consider here.
First, yes, a big foursome scene is clearly fan service, but not all fan service is bad. In this case, the lingering tension between the MC and Katie's posse has been going on for ages. It was going to have to be brought to a proper boil at some point and this does feel like an appropriate point.
It always sucks to see resources thrown at an option you personally have no interest in, but other people have different tastes. I mean personally, Katie falls extremely flat as a romance option so I'd rather she was sidelined to a supporting character role, but that's hardly fair to all her devout fans (who far outnumber me!). In this particular case I think the interest in the orgy more than justified the time spent on the episode.
The second issue is that, precisely because the MC has been able to fuck each of the girls solo, we eventually need some sort of reckoning to sort out where the four will stand once the MC's liaisons finally out. Given this is a porn game, a big sex scene is a better place to do that than most options.
Unfortunately, it sounds like Episode 19 has not worked out all the resolutions yet, at least for certain paths. The MC has very limited options to prevent Debbie from getting with Lily, and a lot of those efforts are presented in very poor light. On top of that, the episode ends before we actually learn where everyone stands the next day.
That is a serious problem that does undercut the time and effort spent on the blockbuster. I understand the devs faced real world hurdles and didn't want to stonewall the large majority of the fanbase who weren't going to see the missing branches in the first place, but I think it was a mistake to release the episode in this state. At the very least, put some sort of place-holder dialog explaining that a given version of the scene isn't finished yet rather than figuratively cutting to black and assuming we'll work out why our initial fears might not be justified.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with the majority of the fan getting a big, fun payoff for a long running sub-plot. But at the same time, I wish it hadn't treated the minority that opted out of that payoff as a literal afterthought. I know it was never intended that way, but it's hard not to feel that way when we get a high-stakes cliffhanger and everyone else goes home satisfied (or never came to the theater at all). We can't read the devs' minds, after all.
