Mate it two separate games, the old ones isn't related to the new one. Why would the save from the new one works on the old one.

its it the stored in Properties on the drive you installed it on. you can even add mods to the games on steam as for saves try to copy them to the save file on the drive you saved. to know where to look on steam look up how to copy saves or go to properties of your installed game and you should understand. I used this to install mods to steam games and even walk throughs it should work in both directions but i have not tried saves

Yup this is what I figured but what I was hoping was that these new chapters would be put into the same file like how Desert Stalker is doing it where they're just completely overwriting the earlier chapters but it's still the same DL.

Zetan already said that Desert Stalker Steam version will be reworked on a newer version of Renpy so every progress that you have so far on the old version will have to be replay when the Steam version release because newer Renpy save don't work on old version.
I doubt the save games are compatible, but... luckily... this game has a very good alternative. You just use the Start Any Episode feature, start at episode 11, and specify the few major choices that you made in episodes 1-10 (aka Chapters 1-6 of Season 1 on Steam), then play through the rest of the game.

For what? You literally still see boobs, ass, pussy, dick and sex in the steam version. Steam doesn't do censorship for 18+ tag mate.

If you mean shoehorned in incest....that's not a censorship removal, as the game doesn't have any. That's some mod someone made and rewrote the script to shoehorn in incest where it doesn't belong.
To restore the original incest themes. None of that "landlady" crap.

There has never been incest in this game. Notice the tags above do not include incest either.
That is why the mod is called incest "rewrite" because the person on F95 rewrote the game to force it in...

To be fair, the premise does come off like a typical "landlady" type game before the story develops more. Young man moves into a home with a hot milf and her two daughters who haven't seen him since they were kids. Gee, where have I seen this before 
But like I said, the story builds on this and makes the idea of incest incompatible. I've used the mod in the past, it makes the story dumber.

Yes there is. Search Where The Heart Is. The results will have on the page a link to a modder walkthrough, etc. for Chapters 1-24. There is a second modder that did a relations mod. It's pretty easy to identify the two mods that are available.

Oh finally!
I don't mind starting from scratch but is there an in-game walkthrough or guide yet? I don't want to download another PDF and tab in and out every 30 seconds because there literally are thousands of choices, which IMO is too much of an overkill especially when you're playing with one hand.
The number of choices and then no ingame guide to mitigate their effect were my only two gripes with this game.
