Will there be Android port for the revamp anytime in the near future? Or is it too bulky for a port

Probably there won't be Android port (at least not an official one).

My personal opinion is that the few bucks more an Android compatibility would generate are not worth the effort and the burden it would generate to the original Dev.

(Let's face it: how many of the folks willing to play an AVN on Android are also willing to pay for it? I think the percentage is much less than if talking about desktop players)

But for many games people different from the original dev provided android ports. (Usually untested, since they make no profit on that)

The save games are not compatible. However, you can play the rework, then jump into the original game (the "old upload") at Episode 11 using the Start Any Episode feature. This feature walks you through the love interests you want and the major choices you've made and then starts the episode with your selections.

The good thing about this game is that - not having long free roams - if your guess turns out to be wrong, you can load from the save just before your bad decision and skip all the already seen content by just pressing tab, and it will only stop on unseen text.

Play both, Both but play 1-24 first then play the remaster as it will give you additional content so not to bore you with repeating the game

I have played 1-24 18 times. I take different paths each time and include/reject different offerings each time. Playing through the complete game the first time gives you a whole new outlook on the characters and how you interface with them. I've also played it with the "relations" patch. That adds a whole different level to the Chapters as well. At any rate, those playing/replaying the game... enjoy.

Anybody else here thought that the remake was sort of unnecessary? (I'm sure it's been said already). I do think the remake is marginally better. But mostly it's better lighting, a bit of dialog change here and there. But honestly I don't think the changes justify the remake.

I get why the remake was made though. If you got a successful game the logical thing to do is to ride the gravy train as long as possible, since you don't know if the next game will produce the same results.

Episode 25

Episode 25 is now our current priority and will remain our # 1 priority until it is complete. This will be the first time since I started WTHI where I don't have a full-time job, so I can focus fully on writing (and doing art for) an original episode with no distractions, so I expect things to move along nicely. Episode 25 will also be Cell's #1 priority over the next few months. Other than to say it will be released in 2025, it is too early to estimate when we'll have it complete. However, once I get a few weeks of dedicated time working on it, I should have a better feel for an estimated date, so I'll try to be a bit more specific regarding a date in one of my January updates.

Episode 25 WILL be the last episode and will close out the main game. Once complete there will probably be a few small epilogue releases to close out some scenes for some minor characters, or to potentially show a non-canon "fantasy" scene for some character combos that may not be possible to achieve in the main game.

But for the "Main game", episode 25 will be the final full episode, and any epilogues will be quite short.

To close off everything, episode 25 will be quite a long episode (I expect it to be THE longest episode of the game)
