I don't think the problem is the lack of harem but people getting accustomed to having all the girls in this game, and since this game has many many girls it makes it difficult to choose 1 or 2.
Whether is laziness to have to play multiple routes for each girl or indecisiveness because they find it difficult to choose, you can't really blame people for being upset or a bit down about all this.
Hopefully Cheeky allows us this type of thing in his next game, or at least warn us since the start.

I don't normally complain about the writing. But when the whole game builds up to harem and suddenly pulls it away.... It's like wow, wtf ok. Thanks? I guess i'll just "enjoy" the sudden change? I was trying to immerse myself now i'm suddenly anxious about every decision and trying to determine who i want to finish with. Is this the same game i just played for the last year??? LOL

Is not a sudden change, it was just an error in tags around that time because Cheeky never was asked about harem in the past, it wasn't until way in later eps that someone asked and he said there won't be any harem.

Fair enough. I'm obviously not the developer. LOL. Can't fault them for what i wanted to see. But damn, i just wish it could have ended with Kate, Jenna, Lily, Debbie, Monica, Jolina, Angel, Wanda and all the other girls with me living happily ever after. But i guess it went CW mode

It was never a harem game, the devs said that.

They let you choose who to date but the story and the girls told you you were never going to get all of them.

The fact is you ignored everything the game told you and ignored all the warnings. That's on you.

There was never a harem tag and Cheeky has said since 2018 that he doesn't see this having a full harem.

For me personally, it's the lack of clarity on what paths are actually available to pursue. For example, in the past there were some people who would swear their lives that we couldn't pursue anyone else if we're pursuing Katie, but then the foursome scene was created. The lack of clarity of what's ok and not completely made me hesitant to pick a route, so it's easier to just pursue everyone and watch the world burn if it comes down to it.

It doesn't help either that the plot is dragged for so long that we still don't know whether some girls are good/bad 4 years after the release (and it's very likely that we still won't know for another year or two from now). This further turns me off from getting too invested in the relationship with some girls because there's a risk of them being the villain.

In hindsight, I really wish this game has less characters because the game really wanted to focus on the inheritance plot but minor characters really distracted from the plot progression because they are irrelevant to it. Alternately, it could've dropped the inheritance plot and replace with a more generic story that would suit the large cast.

If you play the game to the last chapter, you end up with just one conclusion....
the game sets the player to get attached to many girls, to mistrust some of them because of the "will" testament/money, if we could somehow have all-girls there won't be any plot left and no conflict whatsoever xD

Irrelevant for you maybe, I prefer to have them, I like Angel a lot for example, different players different Li's they like, there is many games where side girls may get more fanbase than the main girls, which is not something the devs or anyone else can call "irrelevant", I get you are saying irrelevant to the plot but then again some of those girls are what keeps us interested in many games.

If you play a game during development and you fund a game to be a beta tester (a concept I still have strong mixed feelings over) you're going to run into problems/complaints such as those being posted in this thread.

I'd advise, after having a bit of time to look over this environment and think about it, to just wait until the game is out and done. Pay for it then if it looks like something you want to play. In the meantime, just play other games.

I don't advise paying for the privilege of being a beta tester, which has become more of a problem in the industry both small and Triple AAA (looking at you Cyberpunk). As much as possible, make a dev earn your dollars and get what you want.

That said, I don't mind if a dev posts a game (such as here) and asks for feedback. I'll test out the game and tell them what I do and don't like.

If you ARE going to pay to be a beta tester, just go into it knowing you're putting your money into something that may turn out to not be the product you want. Something you wouldn't have spent money on for the finished product. If you're cool with that, then more power to ya.

It's always perplexing to me when porn devs go to the trouble of doing the art work, the writing, and coding for sex scenes/routes but then don't include a "harem" route where the user can just encounter the dev's hard work all in one playthrough. Just feels like a waste of time to work on stuff that a segment of your userbase may never play through just because they got funneled into specific routes.

Well... the issues are much deeper than your binary options. This game went season 8 Game of Thrones on us this is not the story we've been playing.

I don't know if the writers changed or what, but this feels like a different game. We were once romancing all these women and following their stories, but now we're faced at every moment with the hard to choice to abandon them or make them our sole interest??

There have been constant warnings that the girls wouldn't share.

Katie was only willing to share with the girls but jealousy still gets involved. None of the older women are willing at all.

It's not like it was sprung on you, you've had warnings. None of it was a surprise.

This is as laughable as those complaining about Becoming a Rockstar having all the LI's dump the MC if he was dating them all, they also gave you plenty of warning they wouldn't share.

It's like some of you ignore everything you get told and make up your own narrative.

On one hand we want our choices to matter in those kind of game...
On tho other hand, loading previous saves to check every options is very tedious.

Some women want exclusive relationship, some women were willing to "share" but not with every women for [more or less] obvious reasons.
Hopefully, there will be a solid guide/walkthrough, just to be sure to not miss anything.

Does anyone know how to properly get the MEGA link to work with MegaDownloader? I try using the links given, and MegaDownloader keeps trying to download everything there. The closest thing I could do was to stop the entire download in MegaDownloader, select everything but the specific file I wanted, and then "Delete from list and disk" in the right-click menu. It seemed to work, but I'm looking for a way that is less awkward with less potential issues.

Well this turned into one depressing break-up simulator. I remember when this game used to be really witty and hot, now even the side characters are dishing out morality lectures (while simultaneously blackmailing you).

The mom is crying in her room. Lily says she's already "sharing" you with her friends but when you ask her to include Katie she breaks up with you. Peachy. Yet in the very next scene you can joke with Katie about including Lily and Debbie. I am confusion. Maybe that gets cleared up later on but that was the point I quit.
