The correct choice depends on the individuals involved. Monogamy is the "easiest" option because every person you add to a relationship increases the complexity of that relationship and the chance that it fails. However, there have certainly been times where polyamorous relationships succeeded.

It's as is it sounds, a lot of the game has been remastered and a few things have been changed in the script. But all 24 episodes have not been completed yet with the remaster. It's more or less the same game with updated visuals and some script changes/changes in the story (nothing major).
Also, none of the "fun mods" work with the remaster, once the remaster finishes the "fun mode" will be updated.
Go into your data folder (appdata) and delete the hidden save directory (and ones in game directory) and see if that fixes it.

I did say "relationships" and not "encounters". That's my bad.
But let's count them.
The following characters have satisfying "encounters" with the MC and at least one other female: Katie, Jenna, Debbie, Lily, Wanda, Angel, Jolina, Zarah, and Monica (just the ones I could recall quickly).
That's pretty much everyone. These characters are written to be exceedingly agreeable to sharing the MC.

it didn't but what I just did was went and chose selection choices and it started the first chapter home to roost, I just not sure if that's going to have an impact on the game.

Real Quickly:
1. Mon/Zarah are exclusive to each other.
2. Katie/Debbie/Lily exclusive to each other and even then, Katie needs a whole boat load of convincing and still isn't terribly happy about it. Neither is Lily for that matter either and only does...only...purely for you.
3. Wanda/Angel, again like Mon/Zarah....exclusive to each other. They are NOT happy to share...not in the fucking least....they will accept each other at best if you don't fuck it up (and go ahead...fuck it up...see how happy they really are about sharing you).
4. Jolina.....exclusive to Jenna.
5. Jenna...the only single LI that is most at ease with sharing you.
No other LI will.....none. Even with the sharing girls, you are actually cheating on them until they find out/accept it. Even the ones you're cheating on (and yes, you are cheating on them) that have not discovered about each other until Ep 23....will not be happy going into the last episode.
Enough with this fucking bullshit idealogy that they are ALL happy with sharing (and thus it should be a harem), because they are not.

I expect Natasha won't care about sharing you based on how things can play out in EP 24.
I agree with you in that this game is never a harem, plus I could have sworn I saw it somewhere that the dev stated that you can be a manwhore up until a certain point... And past that point, there are consequences to fucking everyone in sight.

They all start out exclusive to the MC. And then they are exclusive to maybe 1 or 2 others as well. Its always about broaching the subject correctly or having them suggest it themselves somehow. And again, its a fantasy. Its not unreasonable given a bit more time and the perfect set of choices that the MC would be dating 4-6 of them at a time with all of them being aware of it.
I'm perfectly happy with this because it fits how I play these games, but the simple fact is that the girls in this game have consistently shown themselves as willing to hook up with the MC and any other aroused female characters that they like well enough.
I disagree about it being cheating in most cases. How many of the women in this game require a commitment to engage in sexual activities? Oh...none? So, no commitment, no cheating.
And I feel like I'm beating a dead horse at this point by bringing it up AGAIN, but this is a game and not a realistic one but a fantasy. A harem finale (if it existed) would not be the least believable thing that happened in this story, you must admit.

That's my biggest issue with the out of nowhere "Let's remaster it for steam" decision. It's like running 104 laps in a marathon and making the participants wait at the finish line. They very easily could have just waited for a conclusion to this story before "improving" it. I will remain a fan of the original but the rework doesn't have the same vibe for me. The test scene with Debbie wasn't as playful, they make Lilly seem way more into sex which goes against her original character etcetera. It feel a lot more "porn game" to me now when it was way more than that.

Disagree. The cliche is the typical harem game, being able to shag everyone in sight and not having the LI's care about it.
Then one of his patreons would eventually leak it as it has happened so many times with so many other games or it would be leaked from steam when the game is released there.
Good thing this isn't one of those games then, isn't it?

But in the case of the harem cliche its sort of the natural conclusion to an unrealistic fantasy sex game where the goal is seeing all the porn content, isn't it?
If WtHI had a realistic story or realistic characters, I'd agree that a harem ending was a stretch. It has neither.
