No promises, but Cheeky is as antsy to finish this as you are to play it. He doesn't want to take another year to knock it out and mentioned taking time from work to make it happen. He also has his eye on a steam release.

Regarding the end scene; I've seen others mention that it doesn't happen on the Bella path, but I can confirm it does, it did in my playthrough. and I just checked the code to see something....

For what it's worth, I realized the problem with the exception error when I tried to save was on my end. Seeing some of the other comments and how ep23 was upgraded to renoy 8.03, and my JoiPlay was still on 7.5, I downloaded the 8.03 from their Patreon, and that fixed the problem.

Hah, that is interesting! I was scanning through the Ep23 script and the amount of conditional scenes is... mindblowing. I don't know how you can keep it all straight and remember each exception. It's like this meme in code form:

How does the story even make sense with an incest patch? Best case scenario it could work if you make monica mc's aunt, so that the dialogs stay coherent, but i guess you want a 'bang mommy' mod.
I haven't played it since ep21/ last incest mod but irrc "mommy's friend" is just the plain mommy and her daughters (nerd girl and gym rat) are your sisters. So all story where it mentions or refers to mom as dead is removed. Much more than a "bang mommy" mod, you could also bang your hot sisters.

I don't understand why a plot that works, you want to change it by twisting it. We are on the twenty-third update that has just come out and we hope it will come soon, maybe as early as tomorrow the twenty-fourth . Hardly has a Vn enthralled so many and so many, forcing us to become detectives, lawyers and especially Romeos given the characters that were being proposed as they came along. We fell in love with Monica, Kate and Jenna, Angela, Wanda, Theresa, Natasha, Debbi, Lily, Jolina, Elaine and Bella changing feelings to love-hate as needed. Now we are wondering which of Joline and Bella to fuck off. I ask Cheeky and Ace why Jenna warns Mc that she found something strange in Jolina's laptop, but then nothing more was heard of it? Did I miss any passages? Sorry these are only my considerations and not not an accusation. Good Sunday

Completely missed the point.
It's not a matter of being something I didn't want, it's that what you told us and what is happening are 2 different things and by extension those of us that have had your back against people giving you shit for certain things have been made out to be liars.
First the thing with katie and Jenna. That was never foreshadowed, there was even the whole break up thing and Cheeky saying he wanted to avoid anything that would damage the Patreon or any incest which was one of the reasons for the plot changed at the start. Now this wasn't my hill to die on but other people backed you devs up telling people Katie and Jenna wouldn't happen. Now what happens in game and what was told to us are 2 different things and now those people look like liars.
You specifically told me there was no harem so I fought your corner for a year + now for every person that come here giving you shit I had your back. I mocked people, I argued with people and got thread bans because I was backing up what you were saying.
Now I come here only to find out i've been made out to be a liar and i've fallen out with people and got all those warnings for no fucking reason.
So for over a year i've been defending your choices with the game only for it to be a lie. Raven even stopped working on his guide based on what you were saying when it wouldn't have mattered. Still ending up with all those people is a harem whether you want to call it that or not so Raven stopped his guide for no reason and I shit on people for no reason.
After all that this....
Is the response you decide to give me.....
