dev had a idea, a story in his head and he wanted to share it.

I offered my take on his game which he decided to make for money. I wholly expect someone to look critically at my game when i release it. Having an idea and sharing that idea doesn't make you immune to criticism if your idea is complete crap.

Taking these factors into action you must realize that there are suddenly alot of opinions and tastes influencing the games development. Would your above idea make everyone happy?

I think you should probably take a look at the thread I linked in the other post. There are plenty of posts talking about the dos and don'ts of opening up your game to public feedback. The suggestion is that you set your own content ideas that you plan on implementing anyways as the poll options. Then you do the one they like the most first. Don't let them dictate your own creative process. It ruins the game.

i know personally i like your ideas for the little sister for the most part but i don't like them for older sister or mother.

I barely deviated from his plot with the older sister, I dropped the grind, made her punishments more severe, and salvaged his broken as fuck blackmail scenario that wouldn't have worked on the daugher in DMD, let alone his older sister. Maybe it was too hardcore for you, that's fine. Its not necessary.

As for mom, I stuck pretty close to hers as well, only I added depth and story instead of grind. It makes much more sense for the woman who birthed 3 children to not be your little manipulated 1 dimensional cum bucket. I say again, women don't get hypnotized by every big dick they see. The entire premise of your seduction of your mom would be over the moment she saw you naked. Why? because she doesn't see you as a man. You have to fix that. Do you have to do it the way I did? and that is all your opinion and you are entitled to it, i only the other hand enjoyed the game, i enjoyed doing the pizza job and then juggling the fitness and pizza jobs, i enjoyed the interactions with the mother and sisters and i enjoyed the story. Was there things i didn't enjoy sure but not enough to post about them.

Dude its a porn game. They are not known for realism or great story telling. Ill give you my take on MoTH. MoTH and other games that I support or follow are like b flicks. Movies like sharknado where the plot is ridiculous and the scenes so bad its funny. But you find yourself enjoying it. MoTH isnt a bad game. Its an enjoyable game and the community around it is possibly the best on this site. Faerin is a great dev as far as devs go and he is more than willing to listen to comments and give feedback. I talked in psychological terms, made improvements to the game that addressed the issue of grind while still offering a progressive story, and mentioned the money because Morphnet made it sound like he only made the game out of the goodness of his heart. My problems with games like MotH and their poor mechanics base story and overall crap nature is what has inspired me to become a developer. I'm critical of the game, but I'm not just complaining, I'm taking action in the hopes of fixing the industry that is flooded with these basic sims. You don't have to like me, but you're not earning anyone's respect by kissing Faerin's feet. I'm sure Faerin is a good guy. I'm sure he didn't set out to make crap, but you're not doing him a service by defending him. Criticism makes us better. Blind deference makes us weaker.

The flaws in MotH aren't some subjective thing like, "Oh I don't like NTR." the common complaint with BB. No, the complaints are the grind and the 1 dimensional characters. These aren't things that you should sit back and accept as the standard. We can do better, we do, do better. Look at a game like Depraved Awakenings, each character has a backstory, motivations, desires. Your reasons for interacting with them range. Your choices for how to interact with them have real stakes and consequences. Look at Wicked Choices, that game is a master class in how to write a sex scene. Look at Dreaming of Dana, its a life sim just like MotH, only the characters are actually involved in their relationships to you, there are stakes, you have to make choices.

You can't sit back and tell me that "its a porn game it isn't supposed to be believable." that's like saying that a movie with a fantasy premise doesn't have to ground itself in reality. Movies books and the like all have things that make them work and or things that they rely on but shouldn't (usually) maguffins and deus ex machina for instance. The same can be said for porn games. What MotH does is simulate gameplay and story investment through a repetitive task that ends in a reward. The grind is weak story telling in action. It is a lack of ability to create a reason for these characters to want to fuck naturally so we are going to wear them down with menial tasks. It has to be called out for what it is, TOXIC.

I'm not saying these things to hurt your feelings, hell I don't even want Faerin to be hurt by what I've said. I'm saying it to broaden your mind and show you that there's a right and a wrong way to do things. I guarantee you can come up with a function in a game that you hate. Here, I will help, I'm a huge bethesda nerd. I love me an open sandbox. Skyrim is a fun game, but it sucks in so many ways, Its dumbed down RPG elements ruin some of the magic of earlier games, and the way it literally nerfs magic itself in the game makes it absolutely necessary to learn some combat skills other than magic in the early game without mods. Fallout 4 is even worse, its a series of radiating quests that have no substance. The world design is incredible, but without a quality story to keep you exploring it, like was present in both flalout 3 and even better in Obsidian's New Vegas, you are left getting angry at preston for asking you to work for another settlement or putting up another beacon for tinker tom at the same place you just put a beacon for tinker tom.

Its ok to call out broken mechanics, especially in things you enjoy, because doing so can only make them better. And that is the goal. Make the adult gaming community better. The better we are, the more powerful we become, the less we need platforms like Patreon and the more we can move into a higher quality domain maybe even create a professional class industry like they have in japan. That'll never happen so long as people suck faerin's dick for scraps.

That's not enjoyable, its not fun, there's nothing good or great about that. It has a few ok sex scenes but getting to them is like going to work, unless you cheat. But that's just it, you have to cheat to enjoy the game. Its broken and so broken that they admitted it and put in a cheat. You guys are convincing yourselves you liked it because you've put so much time, and possibly money into it that your brain decides it was worth it. Again Sunk Cost Fallacy. Look it up, its a real thing.

The flaws in MotH aren't some subjective thing like, "Oh I don't like NTR." the common complaint with BB. No, the complaints are the grind and the 1 dimensional characters. These aren't things that you should sit back and accept as the standard. We can do better, we do, do better. Look at a game like Depraved Awakenings, each character has a backstory, motivations, desires. Your reasons for interacting with them range. Your choices for how to interact with them have real stakes and consequences. Look at Wicked Choices, that game is a master class in how to write a sex scene. Look at Dreaming of Dana, its a life sim just like MotH, only the characters are actually involved in their relationships to you, there are stakes, you have to make choices.

You can't sit back and tell me that "its a porn game it isn't supposed to be believable." that's like saying that a movie with a fantasy premise doesn't have to ground itself in reality. Movies books and the like all have things that make them work and or things that they rely on but shouldn't (usually) maguffins and deus ex machina for instance. The same can be said for porn games. What MotH does is simulate gameplay and story investment through a repetitive task that ends in a reward. The grind is weak story telling in action. It is a lack of ability to create a reason for these characters to want to fuck naturally so we are going to wear them down with menial tasks. It has to be called out for what it is, TOXIC.

I'm not saying these things to hurt your feelings, hell I don't even want Faerin to be hurt by what I've said. I'm saying it to broaden your mind and show you that there's a right and a wrong way to do things. I guarantee you can come up with a function in a game that you hate. Here, I will help, I'm a huge bethesda nerd. I love me an open sandbox. Skyrim is a fun game, but it sucks in so many ways, Its dumbed down RPG elements ruin some of the magic of earlier games, and the way it literally nerfs magic itself in the game makes it absolutely necessary to learn some combat skills other than magic in the early game without mods. Fallout 4 is even worse, its a series of radiating quests that have no substance. The world design is incredible, but without a quality story to keep you exploring it, like was present in both flalout 3 and even better in Obsidian's New Vegas, you are left getting angry at preston for asking you to work for another settlement or putting up another beacon for tinker tom at the same place you just put a beacon for tinker tom.

Its ok to call out broken mechanics, especially in things you enjoy, because doing so can only make them better. And that is the goal. Make the adult gaming community better. The better we are, the more powerful we become, the less we need platforms like Patreon and the more we can move into a higher quality domain maybe even create a professional class industry like they have in japan. That'll never happen so long as people suck faerin's dick for scraps.

At first the grind was on par with BB. Then with the cheats it became very tolerable (at least for me). Grinds just really add game time is all. You grind to get a certain scene. You grind for a certain ítem. Add RNG to a grind and Jesús Christ you best be lucky.

Your complaint with BB is about content. I find the aunt and older sister very attractive. Mom isn't bad, and while I'm not the biggest fan of little sister, she isn't unattractive. I think it's a horrible game because in spite of its potential, it chose grind over story. I don't think of it as being cucked, as being a cuck is about how you react. He's there and powerful too fast, it made him completely implausible.

Man of the House has no story. There's nothing but grind and fuck with superficial tasks. You help one sister with her homework and she gets curious about sex and leads you on for 3 or more weeks not advancing in a natural way at all because the game is about passing arbitrary point thresholds and not about the natural evolution of a sexual relationship.

You blackmail your older sister with the weakest shit ever, then you cave to her even weaker counter blackmail, I'd love to see her prove you bought her a maid outfit and forced her to wear it. Then you blackmail her again, only this time with her boss, but she suddenly likes it and now she's your little submissive slut. Of course, none of this happens as easily as I've written it, you have to grind to get any of these events to trigger.
