I understand your concern about Steam and your game. It's sad that we live in a world where a game that you can kill hundreds of enemies without concern is acceptable but show some tits and question religion faces backlash and condemnation. I have always thought that the Puritan ethic in America is one of the things that is holding back the evolution of society. One way to look at it is America was formed by religious nuts that were kicked out of every decent country in Europe.Yeah, she's getting slowly back to her usual self... still can't sit for long periods sitting upright in front of a computer, but she is moving around more! As for STEAM... we've discussed it and I decided against it, with the games for a couple of reasons...
- The subject matter (incest & religion) could create a backlash that I don't want to have to deal with in regard to some players who will claim to be offended, even if we point out to people that's what they can expect.
- I am not totally trusting of STEAM when it comes to their "inclusiveness" just yet... I have seen some get accepted and others sit forever in limbo waiting approval...
- I don't want to pay good money (it is a sizable amount) to have our game listed and then yanked... and lose money.
So, no, won't be releasing our games on STEAM... BUT...
...but, we've been working on a stand-alone game that WILL go into STEAM that involves the characters of our games, that will direct attention to our games and which WILL BE a "Mini-game" that will be bundled in our regular games for our Patreons and fans!!
We were sort of trying to hold off on mentioning it, but.... yeah, there will be a game within a game that will be upcoming soon from us, that players can mess around with after playing the monthly releases...
We will let everyone know more about it and when they can expect to see it, but all of the artwork for it is done... just need to finish some minor things, before we release any kind of REAL information about it...

So, yeah... even though I wasn't able to focus on the animation for "MAIN GAME", I've still been working in the background for everyone... I know our supporters really haven't been able to see the results of all of that work for their support, but they will soon!!
Yeah, for me, I think it would be better for us to do a "game" that uses the characters, provides some fun for players and add a reciprocal link in that game to direct the curious to our "main games", than to fight against STEAM or other prudes...I understand your concern about Steam and your game.
