I most heartedly agree... and let me tell you, it is not an easy task to swap prose while trying to write a modern dialect (for the MC) and one that is a more early century one (for the Angelions and Demonothans), sometimes I even mess up... but there needs to be some form of it to help separate and demonstrate the clash of the generational gap.Also agree with your unwillingness to change archaic sounding words. It would be bad for the flow of your writing, but more importantly they often express best what you want to say exactly. Lastly it also fits with the Angelion and Demonothan races that have had little contact with the humans for a few thousand years and the age of MC. It is more or less normal he talks like your dad does and not your 18 yo homey.
