Hi @Zontany, sorry it took so long to reply... the wife let me out of the house to go and play and wasn't able to get back here till now.
You are getting the errors that you are getting, because you don't have the base game installed... only 0.5.2.0 and the correction patch of 0.5.2.1... think of each update (with the exception of the patch released yesterday) as a chapter of a novel with all of the content contained for that chapter within the update... so, for the game to work completely as it needs to, you need to download the base game 0.4.4.1 through 0.5.2.1 and combine the packages together.
Honestly, to make it absolutely easiest on you, I'd suggest just downloading this: Official, compressed, pre-patched version 0.5.2.0:

and then downloading Patch v0.5.2.0 to v0.5.2.1

and extract and overwrite the files inside of the 0.5.2.0 folder and you are good to go!

I would really love to try this game! Unfortunately at least the first two MAC DL's (latest versions) are not playable and get "errors" in games that you cannot "igrore" to continue. The Mega link uncompressed is too large to DL there. Can you put it on another server that will allow a DL of that size?

Download -> Extract the first, then Download -> Extract the second, overwriting the files it asks you to overwrite. Done.

Yes that's sadly because you didn't download one of the 3 different 0.5.2.0 full versions or updated the game from v0.4.4.1 all the way to v0.5.2.0 you're getting "missing files" errors there, that's because you don't have the image files from the old versions since you just downloaded the last 2 "updates" instead of the full game (0.4.4.1 -> up to 0.5.2.0 would be the full game, or one of the 3 different 0.5.2.0 full game files (Full sized, Crunched, Unofficial Crunched).

Sadly no, it was another bugfix because of exactly the problems you always had, I got reports of it happening again so I had to fix it. Now they should REALLY be fixed for eternity......
That's because of the missing files, since the "latest versions" are just "parts" of the game, not the full game
they actually only hold the "new files" for that specific version, but to play the game you need the old files for the previous chapters from the other versions.So to make this fast check the first two answers in this post, they apply to the MAC version as well

if you use a browser capable of doing it or an external download manager OR the mega.nz browser extension. But as you can read in the linked helpdesk post:"downloading is size-constrained by Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari due to their lack of support for HTML5 streaming file writing."
so it's not a problem on mega.nz's end but on yours
I suggest trying jdownloader2 it comes with an auto extraction after downloading the files including auto deleting the downloaded zip file after extraction and so on and so forth, it also allows logging into all one click hoster premium accounts if you have one, so you can download at full speed from wherever you want whenever you want.

Just played this for the first time from start to the current version's finish, as it was highly suggested to me, and I have to say that the story is just damn awesome, it's very well written, an awesome erotic fantasy story. Now, there were some kinks that weren't to my liking, such as hinted bestiality, hinted cheating, group sex and semi BDSM, but they didn't put me off too much because such scenes I just skip over (I really do have an issue with such kinks), but other than that, this is really really good, artwork is gorgeous too and I'm especially grateful that all the body types are realistic and natural, no over sized tits or even ridiculously big dicks (in example the dicks in Battle of the Bulges are ridiculous, so long that they'd be somewhere in the chest cavity doing serious damage and causing internal bleeding, and so thick that vaginas should literally tear apart, it's just ridiculous, haha), even the MC looks like a man rather than a 12 year old boy.
So yeah, this is a very well made VN, top notch.
P.S. Usually I'd very much like the sex scenes to be animated, but in this VN I actually found the narrations more exciting and arousing even, reading what's happening and picturing it in the head, let my imagination work it, haha, yeah, a rare case where I actually prefer it this way

I'm glad you could skip the scenes that weren't to your liking, some don't want to do that and stop playing :-\ If you do a real thread review you can still take part in the lottery we're going to do in a few days... 1. How many books have you planned for wicked choices? Or is it undecided? Also how long will the rest of the books be compared to Book 1?
2. I see that you are planning a side-arc next. How long is that going to be? As in how many chapters?
3. You mentioned that you are doing the side arc to familiarize yourself with a new engine. What is the engine and why did you decide to move away from renpy?
4. Currently the game is out for windows and mac. Will it be the same for book 2+ or will it become a windows exclusive game because of the new engine?

I don't know if I should answer them so I'll wait for @ASLPro3D to decide Hmm you think so? It's actually just the full game as a single download, and the latest patch is just some changes in the script files (some text changes so to speak) so why would you want to download all the images all over again if you just need the text files?
But don't worry, next month comes the next real release (this one now was just some bug fixes) which will get a new "full game download" so you don't have to extract two zip files at the same place but just one....
