Absolutely brilliant, from beginning to end. No 'OMG nipple!' or 'OMG was that my brother's dick??' anywhere, thank you for that too. x'D Best story I've read on here by a mile.

Only thing I didn't like was the 'interlude' where the characters were made out to be actors and this was a play, kinda ripped me out of the reality of the universe you created...if that makes sense.

@ASLPro3D I certainly am enjoying for much the same reasons as i am here pestering you guys. it tickled the heart strings when Cynthia started to grow, I had nearly the same reaction Brandon did when I discovered Emily's reaction to her situation(now knowing the ritual my thoughts are a touch more muted), and KNEW Raven had to come back to the story. My coworkers looked at me strangely when I started chuckling at your introduction of Alex to Brandon, and even stranger when I tried to explain keystone cops in the WoD setting. 'That was the signal, right? What he's not with you? '

I can see VtM in your world, it truly is a good setting of the WoD. If you are serious about doing a game in Knight's world, please (as if you wouldn't) keep us in the loop, and I know (to steal Footfans abbrev) WC is far from done. You got me drooling when you talked of the discussion. Like many of our gen I started my gaming with DnD and I hopped around the WoD. First VtM, but I have to admit I still pick up my Mage: the Ascension guide every now and again to ponder their approach to the world I still have most of the guides including those that were after the 'change'. I played VtM redemption and Bloodlines.
So in closing your honor, I would have to say 'yeah, I think I might sorta maybe just a little bit like you to follow up with a game in that setting.' True Brujah, Children of Gaia and Euthanoi!

Well to be honest Advanced had just came out when my circle found DnD, or shortly there after. We played off and on through 2 , it was when the games started applying the 3/3.5 that I started gathering info again. But I am truly a dark conspiracy type so Shadowrun/VtM/Mage:tA took over most of my read time.

Yeah, will be talking to @Palanto Games cutting that stuff out for our next bundled package... remove those and the ads for other games and just keep the ones for the current release... so things just flow a little better together.

Yeah, I was fortunate enough to work with White Wolf in the early '90's helping them to develop their Werewolf the Apocalypse handbook (particularly the Abomination section)... so yeah, some of that probably bled some into the novel of Ebon Knights... never did much care for the wooden bullet crap that most use, so came up with my own magical system and principles to make it a bit more realistic and modernized... glad that you enjoyed the book and the funny moments in it. It is good to know my efforts in painting a unique world entertained you!!

Well, my novel is quite a bit different than White Wolf (or the work I did with them), but still follows in a similar vein (pun intended)... LOL

The best way I could describe it is a cross between WoD and the Crow... with a little bit of my own influence sprinkled in.

On a completely serious level, i can't decide whether i should cry or laugh because what @El bacca Del Chew wrote there is just about the average level of story we get from games around here. That snippet, and i'm dead serious, is more or less as much as we get from an average demo 0.1 version of games/VNs i use to see popping up nowdays. Easy to get better, sure, but i've seen worse too. Which makes me confused about all this cry/laugh decision:confounded:

I would go with cry... honestly... but you are right, these days that seems to be the style of stuff getting pumped out lately... in fact, I can't believe how many .01's are out there, but never advance to anything really beyond that. It is like all of the good games suddenly stopped producing and we've been swamped with pump-n-dump stories/games...

They have their purpose. But, like a wank in the shower, pressure release, nothing more. I show my bias with my examples, as there are other games on here I play with some regularity, but I am a patreon of exactly 2. If I took the time to set-up a link to imgur(or other host) I would have both in my sig. One with great art and story(sure, guess which that is ) and one rpgm game with chibi as its only art assets. The commonality is both games are imo great stories unfolding with unique perspectives/interpretations of mythos. @ASLPro3D is here and active amongst us pirates, where as my other favorite has shall we say a less than positive outlook on this approach to acquistion.

Almost forgot, Wicked Choices (@Footfan dammit WC keeps popping in my head) and The Last Sovereign are my two choices if being full worlds well written and 1+art 1-art didnt give it away.
