Which file should start the game in the Linux version? as far as i can see there isnt a single file with the flag "executable" set...
tried the windows version and although that runs i get no background as soon as the prologue is over and i enter the office... every button is there and works,.. but the office is just plain black

Do 'chmod +x nw' to make ./nw executable. It's fairly common for permissions to get a bit borked when the files are zipped on a non-linux system; quite a lot of ren-py games need the same sort of fix before you can run them.

I know that I can't really complain given that we're here on F95 being pirates, but trying to play this game on android is a lesson in frustration.

I really would like to play it, from what I can see, it's a great game. But RPGM format means the controls are awful and I kept running into crashes and bugs.

Hope to revisit this when it's more stable.

It's only sex training. Old animations were too simple and static art is less limited for quick mini-events I was aiming. Game has plenty of animated hot scenes with actual plot out there.

..mmm...but also the night services are not animated, or do I miss something ? Anyway, I ilked as it was (even if simple loop events with QTE), but I like also the new direction (with different customers to be satisfied in the night services and the management of the girs with more "rpg" elements), but was just a bit disappointed because I like animations more than static pictures...anyway don't know your future plans, don't know how you animate (if using pre-built assets or creating your own)...your game your rules. Will continue to follow because I like the setting and I like very much the characters...still hope the game will be more and more better with future updates

Abouth the leak, I share your frustration. Not being able to wait a fucking week postponement to whom support a creator is very disrespectful. Ok, it's the world of porn games, but moderators should vigilate and remove links...at the end most of the player are getting it for free and some days patience never killed anyone...

ill be honest here i rarely use terminal because 99%of the things i do dont require it..
i tried it and it worked in giving the file the needed permission... BUT
using ./nw gives this

Seem everyone said true no animated this update how I'm i supposed to enjoy im been dead to wait the update and seem make me disappointed a litle so I'm a going to save my data and another wait for the animation update :'(

Same for me but from "pure" game perpective the new system is much more enjoyable. I think we need to trust the creator and wait how game will evolve as this new update is a turning point in the gameplay. And I don't believe a creator would do something to make its game worst. We need to wait and possibly support.

Mkay, that's because the game is built with an old version of nw.js, which kind of blows and causes a lot of problems. The older version is unable to parse the font config file, and throws a fit like an anime teen who's encountered a minor inconvenience in their daily life. Try this from the game directory (where nw is):

mkdir fonts
echo -e "<fontconfig>\n\t<dir>/usr/share/fonts</dir>\n\t<cachedir>fonts</cachedir>\n</fontconfig>" > fonts/fonts.conf

then start the game with
FONTCONFIG_PATH=fonts ./nw

What that basically does is make an empty font config file with nothing for the older parser to panic about. Give it a go and see if there are any launch-breaking errors left.

If you prefer to get away from the terminal, shove the above launch command in a shell script and make that executable. Then you can just run it from whatever file manager you use:

echo -e "#!/bin/sh\nFONTCONFIG_PATH=fonts ./nw" > start.sh
chmod +x start.sh

Bug and crash during the #1 general fight. Was able to bring his health down to 30%, then an event triggered, which led to the crash

This game is great so far and thank you fidless for creating a Linux version, this is the first RPGM game I've played on Linux natively and it runs flawlessly.

Most commenting about this haven't even tried the changes. No, animations weren't removed. Only sex training was changed to something else. Stop spreading hysterical misinformation.

The animations aren't gone, he just had a lot going on and wanted to finish the initially lobby setting for the night events. Animations are still here and healthy. He will be releasing request, and more story stuff involved with the animations, etc in the very near future.
