The world becoming a worse and worse place, does not change the essence of what it is to be human. A slut is still a slut. I hate to break this to you, but men and women are fundamentally different. Personally, IRL I believe in monogamy for men and women. But, there is a considerable difference between a man who sleeps around and a woman who does the same. I really don't want this to turn into a super rant, so I will leave it at this: women control the sexual marketplace, they decide who fails and who succeeds in the pursuit of sex. Sex is also a significantly more intimate experience for a woman than it is for a man, a woman literally allows a man to enter into her body, it's an inherently vulnerable action. This means that a woman either shows intimate confidence and trust in a man she allows to enter her, or she shows reckless disregard for such things. This is one of many reasons men all over the world have always preferred their wives to be virgins (even if they couldn't articulate it).

That said, I'm not saying all LIs must be virgins (or that all non-virgins are sluts), although it is my preference. There are a number of great LIs who aren't virgins, or aren't confirmed to be, like Lydia from One Dat at a Time, Sharon from Rebirth, and Nancy from Eternum. I don't even dislike Lexi as a character, she is my least favorite in this game, but that doesn't mean I hate her. If a dev wants to make a slut LI, that's fine. But we should at least acknowledge that she is in fact a slut, rather than playing this denial game.
A slut is fine; I've witnessed things even worse than a slut from average adult games.
Even if she is a slut but good at volleyball, no doubt the main character wants her on his team.

Heya guys.

How's it goin'? I'm just dropping by to give all of you here an update on the game. I'm not sure how frequent the dev logs are supposed to be or how frequently you'd like to be updated on the status, so let me know. Weekly? Bi-Weekly? Whenever I want? I'm all ears.

I've already announced in the previous progress report what I plan to add, but let me post it here too so everybody can see. Below are a couple features I'm planning to implement in the game:

  • Named saves
  • Character screen/bio as well as to show the current points and relationship you have with the girls.
  • A better main menu (animated)
  • Scene gallery
Also, fix every typo and grammar error in Chapter 1. If there are any more features you'd like to see aside from the ones above, let me know. I'm open to ideas. (both on Discord and here).

With that out of the way, next is the progress status of Chapter 2 so far:

  • 410 renders
  • 8 animations
  • 2.3K lines of code
As soon as I released the first chapter, I immediately jumped to work on chapter 2. And in case you guys think I'm going to burn out at this pace, I assure you I won't. To be honest, I didn't even think I'd get this much supporters this quick considering it's only been a month and a half since the game released. I'm enjoying every minute of this, and this is my way of giving back.

I've just finished the first "spicy scene" for this chapter (guess who) and just need to add a few more words to the script. After that, I can say the progress is pretty much 30% done. I'm really excited for you guys to see it. The loop animations are no less than 30 seconds, and one of them even lasts an entire minute before it loops again. I hope you'll all enjoy it once it's public.

For progress or status, I prefer to check them out as major scenes rather than percentages. Chapter 2 will consist of four major scenes. This checks out one of them, so I'll be working on three more.

My decision on how I'd like to release Chapter 2 is that I'd like to release it as a whole and not just the first part of it. But at the same time, I want to release something this year, so I'm challenging myself to finish it before the year ends. So I've decided that, in case I can't finish the entire chapter before 2025, I'll release the first half first. Then you just need to wait just a little more for the second half.

Lastly, I was able to finally upgrade my PC (I was using a toaster before). Now I can further improve the graphics and renders. I think it's looking a lot smoother compared to the previous chapter, right? (See the image above.) ... Right..?

That is all for now. Thank you for reading and for your support. I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

It's quite difficult to relate to a main character who's self control is so appalling he has to struggle to stop himself slapping a girl he just met. The game seems interesting but there's a few gaping plotholes and not the kinky kind.

Renders are good and story it can be interesting but its still to soon to kow. Hope that the game has more choices and that the choices have impact on the story and the relations with the girls, hope there is more choices to choose (instead of 2 to have 3) in the future, hope that the girls arent all slutty, hope there is more girls. The game has potential but the dev cant get lost on the story, have more choices with impact on story and relations with girls.

Started playing the game and was really enjoying it all... until I met Lexi.

I'll continue playing and give it a couple of updates to see where the game lands, but I already have such a huge dislike of her that it's draining my enthusiasm to continue playing.

If she's good at volleyball, then I'd still want her on the team, I guess, but even then that'd be a hard sell cause athletes that take themselves seriously don't (well, some do but really shouldn't) be partying and drinking alcohol like crazy. It's bound to affect their performance if nothing else, and also shows a severe lack of discipline.

Still, it's still the beginning of the game, so she could very well "shape up" overnight.

Her as a LI though? Oh hell naw. Uberslut, sheesh.

On the other hand, Desiree and Eve are really sweet.

This is fictional setting of college sports. No point comparing to real life world class professional athletes. She isn't one.

None of the girls are fit enough to win anything and the only girl that currently is might be the worst player right now.
Still that's the point of our job as a coach to convince them to go back and get them ready to compete with the best, I don't even think Lexi is the worst in that regard

Personally the AVN leaves a double impression. One moment we have absolutely stunning render and the next one is... weird (especially those with hair being up close). One scene has this catchy BGM and another gives us silence. Like not even ambient sounds (except our favourite exhale.sfx :Kappa:) . Storytelling generally gives positive impression yet it also has some questionable moments.

Objectively though, Phi opened the door to AVN industry with the kick of a kickboxer. Gripping plot, interesting characters, people here already have best/worst girl debates despite the fact it's only the first chapter. Signs of very promising AVN. Couple more updates like this and this AVN will ended up on the first page of weighted rating.

Click on the third Chinese symbol from the main menu page. Then you can change the language to English.
Damn that's quite a stumble on bootup. There should be a little heads up or something in the instructions on here. Why's it default to Chinese anyway?

Alright I'm out. How'm I supposed to take this seriously when the Alpha Wolves logo says "Alipha Wovles"? And that weird shit in the big Wolves makes the L look like a U. Did an AI do this?

Hi guys,
Dropping in for a quick progress report. for chapter 2. Development is progressing quite well, without any major issues. I was able to add a hundred more renders from my previous devlog. Still a little further away from the goal, but we're getting there. I slowed down a bit this week due to a busy work schedule as well as helping my mom with her paperworks for her to go to Japan. She's there now so that's taken care of.
We're sitting at around a total of 500 renders right now, 9 new animations (These animations are a total of 4 minutes combined), and a total of 12k words for chapter 2. My plan for September is to work a huge chunk of it and hopefully be around 70% complete by the end of the month.
Let me give you a hint about the theme for Chapter 2. It will feature both "Lowest" and "Highest". Take that as you will ;).
Thank you for supporting this project. I feel very lucky to have all of you already here with me this early on in the development, and I'm truly grateful.
I'll do bi-weekly progress reports updates here.
If you have any questions, by all means, please shoot me a DM. Either here or Discord's fine. I'll always reply.
You guys are the best.

Have a wonderful weekend!

The writing is good. Real good, given how much I basically despise 4/5ths of cast as they are garbage people and the MC is equally as bad. I mean shit one of them shouldn't even be existing in the school still if it was anything remotely like real life (Fiona or w/e her name is) given that any institute that has a zero policy on violence would terminate anyone even associated with violence, even if they didn't instigate it.
I think this VN will require an extreme amount of suspended disbelief to think that any of those people would even function in a social setting or work as a team at all outside of Eve given that basically none of them are even remotely interested in playing or taking it seriously, moreoever you can't help anyone that doesn't want to be helped but again MC seems to just be railroading hero complex and it will somehow just "work" even though people in real life who are like these individuals would straight up never be able to be helped or made into an actual team.

Eve - Pretty good, probably the only individual that seems like she could make the team.

Zoe - Basically comes off as having a default mode of "what I say goes, end of story, you're beneath me" aswell as doesn't want anything to do with any of the other members, so that's fucked from the get-go. It also irks me that she absolutely knew who he is, is supposedly a fan but still basically just went "lol you quit after losing once you fucking pussy" when given her wealth and connections, she could have easily found out why he did so.

Lexi - Doesn't take herself seriously, has no qualms forcing herself on someone and has literally zero interest in playing. I personally don't really give a shit if she gets a train ran on her every second day if she would actually just be interested in playing the fucking sport.

Fiona - Either is in organized crime or has family members/friends in organized crime given that rumours rarely spring from nothing, also has an absolutely dogshit attitude, and also doesn't seem even remotely interested. And no I'm not taking into account what Lexi says because Fiona has just proven otherwise.

Saki - Not interested at all, contrarian kid on a tantrum so effectively impossible to deal with.

Honestly just pivot the game and take over basketball coaching instead. Rebecca & Anna are endless entertainment and Desiree is naive but atleast a kind person at the core. Will atleast make the game something other than "I CAN FIX HER" simulator when, 99.9% of the time, you cannot fix people like this.

I'll be keeping an eye on this simply because the writing is actually good, won't be able to suspend my disbelief enough to redeem any of the characters' traits though.

EDIT - I honestly think a lot of this would be alleviated if some of their personalities weren't so absurdly extreme and they atleast dropped a "maybe, I'll think about it" rather than basically reacting to the idea as if it was the bubonic plague, which is also where the suspension of disbelief starts to wane as if someone reacts to something like that, they're not going to go with it no matter what.

The vast majority of AVN require extreme amount of suspension of disbelief. This is pretty much on the same level as other games IMO.
but again MC seems to just be railroading hero complex and it will somehow just "work" even though people in real life who are like these individuals would straight up never be able to be helped or made into an actual team.
This is just factually incorrect. MC doesn't have hero complex. MC needs these girls to turn the team around because everyone else sucked and MC would lose scholarship if the team didn't win. MC is doing this out of his own necessity, not any desire to fix people.

I get it that they are quite strongly refusing at the moment, but I don't think they are by any means acting as if it's never going to happen no matter what.
1. Eve is already in the team.
2. Desiree looks very likely to join the team too.
3. Zoe's reason to not join the team is clearly because she doesn't think that the others are taking it as seriously as her (hence, she's playing in the city team), she even briefly mentioned that she's willing to play if with MC before MC abruptly cut her off and went on a tirade. So if the team showed that they're taking it seriously, she'd be willing to join the team.
4. Fiona is an unknown at the moment and not a straight "never going to do it". It's already hinted that she's very different once you know her, so the natural progression is to get to know her to then find out what happened for her to quit the team and what we could do to get her back into the team.
5. Saki is also an unknown when it comes to why she doesn't want to play, but she's much more open to it when compared to Fiona because she definitely sees MC in a more positive light.
6. Lexi doesn't have zero interest in playing. She said she just needed to be convinced that volleyball would be more fun than partying. She even literally said "I'll think about it"
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Just my speculation based on the above, I'm guessing the order of players joining the team: Eve -> Desiree -> Saki/Fiona (depending on which one is more realistic after we know their circumstances) -> Lexi (playing with Fiona would be what's more fun than partying) -> Zoe (team are taking it seriously, she's joining)

If you haven't been around people before, sure.
If you have and specifically around the type of individuals that this VN has, then no, this is pretty egregious in how absurdly unlikely it is for any of these characters to get into the team.

They're not mutually exclusive, MC clearly wants to help where he can, and it's just going to tip more and more to that side as time goes on.

If you don't know people, sure.
If you know people who are like these individuals, it is extremely unlikely. I've been around a lot of individuals like these in my life, and I think one out of maybe 200 have done things they didn't want to do. Can't convince someone who doesn't give a fuck, especially not if you're some random dude aswell.

I'll only quote those that I actually talked about in my initial post, didn't talk about Desiree because she's obviously not on the team right now nor does she seem likely to be at the moment. There'll probably be another 2 or 3 updates before she considers that given the current trajectory and writing.

Skylaroo said:

She, straight up, had nothing indicating that she was willing to listen to MC nor even consider it before MC lost his shit, and there were quite a bit of talk leading up to it. Her personality is just sour as fuck and she doesn't seem to take the team seriously at all given that she KNOWS who MC is, even idolize the dude yet still went "yeah nah, maybe if you get rid of everyone else because I hate them". Moreover, the MC doesn't know that she would be willing to play for the exact reason you just outlined.

Skylaroo said:

She despises the MC, punched him in the face, either was directly involved in physical assault of the previous coach or had friends/family do the assaulting and she just stood by it. Literally nothing points towards her being interested, and again someone like this in real life would never even fucking consider going back on what they initially feel/believe. This is exactly why I'm pointing out that this VN requires some extreme suspension of disbelief because if this was real life, it would just end right here.
She's also just the least redeemable individual out of all of them, like at what point would you have to go on a fucking peyote spirit quest to Bratva headquarters just to get her to consider playing a goddamn game?

Skylaroo said:
5. Saki is also an unknown when it comes to why she doesn't want to play, but she's much more open to it when compared to Fiona because she definitely sees MC in a more positive light.
Sure, more open to it, but seeing someone in a positive light doesn't really matter at all, again given how she is as a person, zero reason to think that she'd all of the sudden get serious about playing for a dude she's only just met outside of VN magic.

Skylaroo said:

You do realize that's like the most common excuse for not wanting to do shit?
I've worked with a lot of youths, I've been that youth, if I gave you the "I'll think about it" response it means to fuck off and stop bothering me.
This is what I mean, outside of VN logic, these characters just do not work from a fundamental perspective and is why I have issues with suspending my disbelief for them. If their characters weren't as extreme in their distaste of anything relating to volleyball and the MC, it wouldn't be as jarring.

A little fix

she even briefly mentioned that she's willing to play if with MC before MC abruptly cut her off
This. Not just "breefly mentioned", she already was about to join the team because MC is the coach. It's an important part of the story. She would already have been a part of the team if MC had waited a second longer.

Fiona - Either is in organized crime or has family members/friends in organized crime given that rumours rarely spring from nothing, also has an absolutely dogshit attitude, and also doesn't seem even remotely interested. That's some quick judgement. We know so little about her, how did you manage to make her a part of organized crime is beyond me. Yet we do know that despite the incident dean decided to let her continue the studies

Previous coach got beat up by "tough looking dudes" and/or Fiona (depending on involvement) on school grounds of a supposedly extremely prestigious school where you can easily get real fucked up by LEA.
Options of individuals capable of doing so;
A - Organized crime that can skirt the rules (which fits the best given that the dean just let it slide).
B - Local gang that are nuts enough to do something like that.
C - Crackheads.

Did you even stop and think about the actual variables behind that situation and what type of people it would require to do something like that on school grounds? Let alone a prestigious one?
Hell, what type of people it would have to be to do that to ANYONE regardless of where it is.
