Animation viewer. The story gameplay is rudimentary and very bare bones. Boot camp level stuff. Go here, interact with actor, go there, kill actor.
They're not likely to pursue much deeper systems than that. They're going to make more/keep interest just by being a barbie doll dresser with a scene creator because, well, that is what the market wants I guess.
Forum users can't possibly have experience shipping code or working on an engine that has been freely available to use/learn for a decade so don't criticize the development.

UE4 is older and not supported but works better on potato-machines, UE5 is the current version with much more animations and characters but is more bugged and is more demanding in terms of PC specs.

The UE5 version has Lumen global illumination. It's absolutely beautiful if you have hardware that can handle it.

Is it the actual last version of the game? Benches look like cubes, no music, before that a native to this planet girl flew away with just her regular arms (no wings). It looks like a development build...

Why would you want such a old version of the game? Anyway i doubt you will find someone here still using such a old build. 
I remember I played a very old version of the game and there were monsters and girls that looked differently compared to newer versions.
Story will be done by next year stop being so negative! Next release nevermind bench textures we are getting 500 more max animations gosh i cant wait!
