Finally some one that knows and tests stuff too , i feel you , i usually say what i see on steam or other forums about games and get insulted or trashed by wannabe fanboys that doesnt even know what AA , Tearing , or other grafic stuff means.
and i also Test the new poses on Oasis the old one you teleport from the rock because its the only one that doesnt stutter crazy,
the new map when you enter even on SSD you need to wait 10 sec to load textures or its just freezing arround.
the fisher village from older versions had better performance because if someone here on this forum remembers had the old vegetation not the new one , the Npcs and actors drop frames at certain amount tested that too , but the Stuttering the low Fps are mostly those new trees behind the village , the lightning sources etc.
So for a better user experience i hope the devs think on small locations for testing or playing arround with npcs or poses on sandbox.
for example , why we have to be on the fisher village on sandbox with lots of struggle because of the huge map load , when you can cut that part of the island make it smaller , just the village less forest behind better performance.
another example , why not a sandbox mode that you enter on those small areas i say like the kerpal village but with no npcs so you can drop them yourself with the summon console , and test the poses etc since its a sandbox mode i rather have pose editor droping the npcs with a certain pose behaviour etc , than entering on the same ''story'' map without the videos.
they could easy creat a small map area like Beach with few cabins , oasis like older builds with less stuff and more comfy , for those sandboxs screenshots pose testing etc , the fps will be like the showroom flawless 72+ fps on high.
another thing , why we need a poser console to put there poses on Npcs if we cannot leave them posing ? as soon you close the poser animation cancels for the characters :S.
Nah, I didnt even post any specific numbers, screenshots, etc.
I've done it in the past, and people just tell me that I am wrong, and that this game is top Unreal Engine performance and that even most AAA UE games arent better optimized.
Opinionated nonsense, basically. And the thing is, you cant actually argue against it, because the moment you do the mods will step in and award infraction points and bans to everyone.
Anyway, what you said about the new map is true.
Not only that, but you'll notice that when you start flying high in the sky, to move from one area to another, somewhere in between areas there are massive framedrops, we're talking from 60 all the way down to 25 FPS with constant spikes. And when this happens, the GPU usage is way less than 50% so you know its the game and not the GPU which is struggling. CPU usage is also quite low as well, memory hardly loaded (both VRAM and system RAM), so conclusion, the hardware is not the problem.
I dont know if its a matter of displaying a large part of the map all at the same time, or simply that its constantly loading/unloading game files, but for some reason the game cannot handle it and freaks out.
I like your idea about a new sandbox area, one that makes sense. Its gotten pretty annoying that the game constantly wants to load that pointless crash site area over and over again, even though I go to the warpstone and select to teleport to the Village, and its all in Sandbox mode! Not New Game.
Lastly, I hardly ever used the showroom in the past, but since you mentioned it, I think I'll just use that from now on, at least to check out new poses and sex animations.
As it stands, for me the game is trying to be things that it will probably never be good at. Combat? Story? Come on. There are countless of games out there that will do these things way better. We all know what we're here for.

#2 --> Forget about it, that laptop will struggle in Wild Life, even though it does seem capable of light gaming, can probably handle Fortnite, LoL, etc, I wouldnt even bother with it for WL.
Nope, I have a 3070 and the game has massive framerate spikes, it's just badly unoptimized but I've seen worse, trust me.
Wow, 3070 and still having performance issues? Thats pretty insane.
Anyway, I understand what you're saying, I've seen worse as well, but the thing is, this is a very well funded game. Just go check out how much money they get every month for its development. Its inexcusable imo.
