I don't know why you thought I was implying you asked "stupid questions" but I'll tell you about a useful feature this site has. It is about the searchbar on top right corner. With default settings it isn't very useful but you can change an option in your profile settings to make it sort search results by newest which should make it more convenient to useYou know, if every game here had an FAQ section, I wouldn't ask "stupid questions". Going through 1000 pages to find the answer I am looking for is not easy, but I have tried.
Anyway, this answer I guess should be enough, a least for now.
Hmm good point actually. I guess I was hope for more common sense in the people. In the end if we add that there would still be people who dont read that and then after a few releases its obsolete anyway. To be completely honest im fine with some people making these complaints because I know we are working on that and things will be looking better and better as we progress. One thing we are doing is to make a little behind the scenes video specifically about level development and why things look how they look now.
Alternatively, you could use a special texture on those meshes with the text "placeholder" on it; that would make it very clear. (Svenni has previously suggested this solution.)
I think it's better to have the explanation in the game than hoping that players will find out through some page/video outside of the game.

How do you sort them by the latest or newest if your using the search feature. I would like to know.

It is in your profile settings, preferences tab. Depending on your screen resolution you may need to scroll down a little bit to find it.

anyone able to answer my question??? Whats the difference between the unreal 4 and unreal 5 version?

UE4 version is an older build. All up to date versions of the game are on UE5.
Last update really messed up the textures. Even the hair colors arent right on custom preset characters anymore. I'm getting every character with mostly shimmering grey hair.
Can show how that looks? Shimmering grey hair might also come from non-shadowcasting lights that illuminate the hair from inside.
The first 2 are normal Maya and the second 2 are custom preset maya. The hair should be dark black but turns out grey and the textures dont load correctly on skin.

Thanks this helps a lot in sorting to the most recent. I don't know why they couldn't just put this in the search instead.

AdeptusSteve Can you remove these fake reflection? idk that this is probably a cubic map. It's just that there are already lumens, yes, it's not really ray tracing, but with this you can already normally remove lighting and partly reflections, and this card just gets in the way

U4 is older version, U5 is newer, but there will be compatible issues for U5 without RTX(probably)
