You can't launch the game in VR. You must launch it in Desktop Mode then wear your headset and press ALT+0 (make sure that the game have the focus to catch keypress)...

Hey guys! I have a small problem and i don't know how i can fix it. I downloaded the game yesterday and wanted to play today. When I start the sandbox or storymode, my camera slowly slides downwards. I couldn't find anything in the options to counter it. Does someone know what causes this issue?
I think the developers don't even have a VR headset...AdeptusSteve
Would it be possible to have a small VR pass in some near future updates?
I do know we certainly represent a small percentage of your playerbase but your game is still one of the best VR porn games, and that even without VR controllers interactions, and I think just making the menus usable in VR would make it so much better and would attract a lot of VR players (and we may be few but we have money, VR headset + computer powerful enough to run this game in VR are not cheap)
Right now each time we want to make a change we have to disable VR mode, wait some seconds for it to take effect, remove the headset, make the change, reactivate VR, wait again a few seconds, put the headset on again. Not ideal at all.
Problem with menus, in case you are not aware, is two fold.
First they are fixed relative to the camera, so you can't move your head without having the menus moving too. That means you basically have to keep your head still and just look with your eyes at the edges of the "screen". That's not comfortable at all but also very blurry, the only clear spot in a VR headset is in the center (because of fresnel lenses)
Most VR games I know solve this problem by making the menu a real (flat) object in the world you can look at, even turn around sometimes.
Second problem is you have no cursor so you don't know where you are clicking at at all when you are using the mouse. That problem alone make the menu completely unusable since you never know where to click exactly, you have to guess with buttons highlighting.
Just solving this, and I don't think that would take a long time, would already significantly improve the VR experience.
Then there is also a few smaller things that should easily be fixed for POV mode that come to mind :
- Just disable the head of the character you are incarnating. That would solve the frequent issue when the camera is not in the perfect place to see their eyes and teeth from inside, not a pleasant sight, and just blocking your sight. Significant improvement and really easy to do I would think, and that would benefit regular desktop users too. As a bonus could even gain some performances!
- POV mode is slightly uncentered. I think that just a problem of not using the right eye screen as reference.
- Lots of animation have the camera 180° backward

...that said, the problems with menus can be solved even more easly: They just need to add some more hotkeys...
...but... don't count too much on it. I think they are not smart enough to understand that VR users are few only if compared to the rest and, this game, with a very little effort, can become one of the top 3 VR sex games.
Have you checked that your controllers (joystick, joypad, etc) are not sending any input? (move them to check this)

Could the devs allow us to make Look At, look at character bones or objects?
Imagine an audience is watching a couple fucking. Each audience member is set to Look At the hip bone of the couple fucking, that way as the couple automatically switches sex positions via the auto sex queue, the audience will look at the correct place, you won't have to manually change the head rotations for the audience for each new sex pose. This will make a scene feel very much alive to have audience members that move their heads automatically to focus ont he action, as the couple fucking switches between sex positions.
Like this:
Look At: Dir | Cam | Char X (Head,Hip,Eyes) | Obj (Fruit Bowl)
Adding a speech bubble is curious. Will there be a way to auto queue the speech bubble, the same way sex positions can be queued? I wonder what the long term game plan of the speech bubble is?
EDIT: ALSO, The one prop SANDBOX REALLY REALLY NEEDS is a Bed or one of the Cot's.

if it took you 2 days to download 'Build 2022-02-25' then keep it and play because between it and the latest ver not really much has changed, you won't notice it during gameplay
an update instead of having to re-download the whole game for each update is what everyone needs, haha XD
I aggree to both. The sandbox can be an awesome feature. However a good story, a good character development is also key if you want some kind of connection to the characters.Hmmm i mean a good story is a good story that can be nice to build up characters relations and give those poses a nice immersion , but i also agree that the new Sandbox custom stuff to place arround its very very noice , but i think it could be even better with pre-built structures idk like the ones on the kerpal or fisher village or even give the player City or house option to create and save those , since its not story related we could have houses cities etc right ? to just build stuff like on sims lmao also placing stuff on a blank room its less lag or fps drops so i enjoy that and i guess lots of ppl with not high end Pc's do too

Since some appear to be talking about the story vs sandbox.. I am a sandbox all the way simply because a story has to be very VERY good in order for me to care about it.You need to have top tier writers since at least for me these games stories are competing with audiobooks, tv shows, movies and "normal" story driven rpgs developed by large studios. I'll throw a number out of my ass and say 95% of the time the stories in the sexual game industry are mediocre at best and at that point I'd just rather look at pretty things without the context.
The devs ARE NOT focused on adding things to increase scene interactivity. They are focused on things that looks good in pornhub (and co.) videos so that more videos can be made and shared, increasing the number of patreons. Expect almost only new poses, characters, clothes, mainly thing that looks good and features to place and manipulate said things.
You are asking something to make the scene more enjoiable while you are "playing". Thi is not a priority.

Many users search for games labeled "Virtual Reality" and find this title. After trying it, they see that VR is there but it's not implemented well yet and they decide to support the developers believing that the VR aspect will be improved in the future.
Since the VR aspect isn't of interest to developers, these users find themselves supporting something based on the wrong assumptions. It's been years since the first release without even a small improvement on this side and, if I'm not mistaken, the developers themselves (somewhere) seem to have confirmed it.
The "Virtual Reality" tag is correct... but... I think it is fair to explain it clearly in the opening post.

I wouldn't of requested it if it wasn't already built. There's already a built in look at feature, and it can already make a character look at the camera. The camera is an object. Think about it, if it the character can already look at the camera, then making the head look at any other object or character bone shouldn't take long to implement, because the Look At mechanic is finished. They way the devs have coded everything is VERY efficient, they can rapidly add minor features like this so fast, because their core programming is solid.
I can imagine selecting a button called Look At: Character .. Then two drop downs show up. The first drop down is for the character you want to look at, then the second dropdown is which bone of that character you want to look at. In UE blueprints, there shouldnt' be much difference between a camera object's xyz world postion and a character's xyz bone world position. EDIT: Although, it would be better to have a helper null object right inbetween the eyes of every character, that can be looked At. Looking at a single eye bone might not be convincing.

I need a bit of help. I have no idea why, but as soon as I am a few seconds into the game, everything goes into slow motion. I give absolutely no input, I just wait and stare, and then it happens. My pc is by no means weak and I already tried lowering everything to the lowest settings, so I don't understand how this happens or how I can remove it!

This may sound silly but is the game toggling on the slow motion? The feature? I rebound the slow motion in the game cause I kept on accidentally pressing it. Maybe you've accidentally done the same or maybe your keyboard is broken and is inputting the keybind for it.
