Unreal Engine Wild Life [Patreon Test Build 2024.08.15] [Adeptus Steve]
I just want to let you guys know this game is not a scam. The creator frequently streams, posts updates on his patreon. But since Patreon is a bunch of pussies he can't post the real good shit there.. That is why he has a Discord server.. He has done so much stuff these past couple of months.. dozens of new characters, tons of animations, poses, models..
I love how people just hate saying that this is a scam without even checking.. I'm watching the stream as I am typing this.. you can ask him questions, recommend stuff and just joke around..
Please stop spreading lies.. The game is not dead.. it is in very active development.. and it is going to be a masterpiece when it comes out!
Also there is no update yet, the Patreon thank you message was indeed from the last year.. he fixed it now.. and the update post wasn't a game update.. it was a development update.
Then new build should come out by end of August..

Apologies for the disheartening aura around this game but our skepticism is not unfounded.
Any chance you could upload a couple of screenshots of the stuff he's shared in the Discord?
We need to believe, and proof is a surefire way of achieving that faith in the game.
P.S.- I used to be a patron way back from Mar-July of last year.
You just go to his picarto stream and look at his archived videos. Plenty of things to see in them.

Go there click on videos and look at the latest recorded streams.Dont let the vast amount of furry characters confuse you - they also will do normal human stuff. If you look at the game as it was last year they already have some animations with humans there.
As said in the previous comments, you can go through his streams... he streams pretty often in the last couple of weeks.. I have a few screenshots.. but it doesn't nearly represent the amount of content he shows on his streams.. yesterday, while he was streaming, I asked him if there is gonna be an erection animation.. he literally stopped what he was doing.. opened the erection animation and showed me the erection animation for each character in the game and explained how he did it.. he'll probably be streaming tonight.. you should definitely come and ask him whatever you want.. he takes recommendations and answers all questions game related or not.. he also does polls and asks his viewers what we want him to do next or if we are interested in seeing anything..
i've seen a lot of the stuff he has done.. i don't know if all the stuff will be in the next build, but so far there is 10 times the content & characters compared to the previous build...

I think people need to stop getting carried away with their reviews.
A lot of those "big ones" tend to use their own engines.
CDProjeckt use REDengine 3, Bethesda use the Creation Engine, EA use Frostbite, Ubisoft developed the Snowdrop Engine, Infinity Ward created the IW Engine and then you have to common ones like Unreal, CryEngine, Hero, Unity etc....
Pointless information no one needs to know but my point is ... people, calm the fuck down with your reviews. There is praising a game you like and then there is talking so much bollocks your review looks hilarious.
You have to remember a lot of us here are actual gamers, not just H games. When you start talking about engines and graphics and over praising them it looks bad.
It doesn't make the game you are praising look good it makes you look clueless.
Like nothing you have ever seen before .... unless you are a gamer and see this on a regular basis.

Also some things you should consider is that those games you are talking about are made by huge studios with hundreds of employees that get paid really well.. this is a studio of five people with a monthly income of a little below $10.000.
I think that is actually is really amazing.. and that it actually looks much better than some of the games you've listed..

In fact, lets throw in a Cryengine game currently for sale for 79 pence (or 99cents depending) on Steam...

If you like it and wish to praise it then go for it. Doesn't matter what he thinks or how dumb his argument is to compare 5 people to multi million dollar gaming companies.
The game is extremely visually impressive for what it is period.
Let's just all agree that it doesn't matter whether big companies use Unreal or not. Whether they do or not, it does not automatically make for a good game. Same way that I could get the same shoes as Ronaldo, but that doesn't make me a pro football player.
And of course it's not going to look as impressive as triple A titles. They simply don't have the manpower to achieve that. And I think that's what Gomly1980 was getting at. In that Tumblr post the game was compared to "the big ones". That review was hyperbolic. You can't deny that.
But to get back on topic, how's the game itself going, actually? I've checked a few of the streams, but all those show are the animations. But the main complaint about this game is that it lacks substance.

I rather pay 30-60 dollar when its completed than being patreon when its done, waste of money when the dev just focus on animation and leave the gameplay too linear. For a small team, they're too ambitious on this project. Hope its not like The Culling 2 or No Man's Buy:FeelsBadMan:.
Problem is that no one will get this game if no one supports the on patreon. Is that so hard to see?
