I never said the game was a 1:1 copy of Fortnite. Firstly, because that would warrant a lawsuit from Epic Games and secondly, its Unreal Engine, they have thousands of assets available in their own store alone. But even you didn't deny both screenshots have at least some similarities.
Don't move the goalposts. You said it was using premade assets, I asked you for proof of that and you didn't give it. I'm not denying you claim, I just want you to back it up.

I think

I think it would be better if its just animation simulator. In fact i think they should just scrap the whole RPG "gameplay" element and focus on the sandbox, customization element (characters, environments, scenes...), support modding, make it a ultimate porn sandbox game. The reason why Skyrim porn "game" is so famous because of the huge modding community behind it. I dont know why they keep focus on the RPG aspect not going nowhere .
I don't know tho, just my ignorant opinions.
Having mod support would be absolutely great. Just look at Illusion games and what modders made possible in their sandboxes. Unfortunately, devs' comments on that have not been very encouraging (technical limitations)

I see the thread is still riddled with people who think they know how game development works, some things never change i guess, always the same complaints and arguments even though the game is clearly showing steady progress if you know what to look for, personally i'm very excited about the quests, i finally have a goal to work towards in the game rather than aimlessly run around and check out new animations.

And just to clarify, the vertical slice is not the game, it was never meant to be the game, just a showcase of what they're aiming for.

Wild Life isn't a game yet. I'm not arguing over the quality of updates, I'm just stating that there are indeed updates, it's not ike the devs just up and ran away with the money. Thinking too much into it here my dudes. It's not that deep.

WildLife is not a game at this point, if anything it's a testing bed for what could be in the game, alongside a pretty decent sandbox editor alpha.
Wildlife is not a game after 6 years and it probably won't be in the next 6 years. You say that it's better situation when Devs release updates instead of running away with money. In my opinion - yes it is better, but for them, not for the supporters.

Why? Because if you grab some money and run away with them - that's a clear situation. Everybody knows that they get cheated on, everybody knows that was just a big fraud. And that's it. There is no financial support anymore. No more victims of such a practice.

But if someone is "smart" or "clever" enough, and see "the big picture" then dragging out development instead of running away with money it's much more profitable. If you are doing it right, then nobody can call it a fraud, but still you receive a shitload of money barely doing anything. You're just acting accordingly and getting payed for that.

As I said before - quantity of updates means nothing, quality means everything. And I always look at the final product - that alone will tell you more, than 1000 of updates or "devs being transparent with this or that".

I've played this game when the first playable version was released. Let's say I checked on this game one time per year.

When I posted my actual opinion about the game being "horrible" it was just because of this last April version.

After all those years this game it's not even standing in place - it's gradually worse, update after an update.

There is one thing that I actually agree with you on though. "It's not that deep". That's a correct statement. It's pretty clear what is happening here. But some of the "dudes" refuse to see that. Maybe it's just a denial. Nobody likes to admit their mistakes.

In the end, I don't care about this game at all. I'm just losing my time to write this shit just because I was called to the chalkboard because of my previous (totally deserved) opinion.

I think Lumen is what is making the textures all fucked up (most noticeable on clothes and it also makes lipstick not work at all.) If you load up map without Lumen enabled everything looks fine, but if I turn it on it immeditaely makes all the textures very low-resolution. This persists even after turning Lumen off, have to go back to the menu and start again.

EDIT: It appears with everything turned down from Epic to High I get the textures back so it's probably my system not being able to handle everything on max.

As you said, look at the final product. Also you seem quite passionate about bashing a game you apparently don't care about at all.
I don't know if I will be alive to reach that moment, so 6 years of development must suffice for now. I'm not judging this game progress after one, two or three years. We are talking about six years. After that time, I think it's possible to finally say something about progress, right?

Saying something that is bad -> it's already "bashing" in your eyes? If so, not my problem. I'm not passionate about anything, don't get the wrong idea.

I'm just defending my opinion (I clearly explained in my 2nd post my reasoning) which started some butthurt movement, that's all.

jesus christ dude, I get it, you have a hard-on for being mad at the state of the game. borderline obsessive really.
you were never called in about any opinion in the first place. I think you should take a break.

More interesting thing than this game is why some people are so sensitive and exaggerating everything.

borderline obsessive really.
My advise to you, don't use words the meaning of which you don't understand.

Just as you weren't with this reply, maybe don't shut people up on public boards?
It's hypocrisy at best. "Speak well or be silent."

I am gonna dare and put something inbetween yalls discussion about...at this point...whatever it is you guys are discussing.

Am I the only one who kinda wants the old sandbox back ish? I don't like the editor menus at all really. A mix out of both would've been nice.

Like there have been some cool creations via the sandbox sure. But I hope once the world is actually there "someday" it will fit in better.

But I am also a plug in and play type of person so these pure editor/create menus kinda scare me away.

Fall off your high horse, you didn't just call the game "bad", you've been writing wall of texts saying that the game is horrible, a scam, that the developers are greedy, all while actively antagonizing people who are supporting it. You are entitled to your opinion, but don't act like you don't care because it's obviously not true

Having hard time making darkness consistently "dark" in sandbox. Every time I wiggle my mouse a little, this aura of light appears under my char even if it is midnight. I just want to have pitch black around her for one of my dungeone-themed map project. Do I need to mess around with shadow settings?

You're saying huh? Let's check this out then!

Honestly? This game is horrible. Could be good, but you know -> greed.
... after all those years you still have some bare bones product, barely a game. Still, it's just a nice animation viewer on huge empty ugly map with horrible performance after another "big change". It is nowhere near something that was advertised many years ago

...It's just a porno game...

That's all I was saying about game state directly. It doesn't look like a wall of text to me, considering that it's from my combined three messages.
The whole rest was about certain practices that Devs are used to milk their supporters.

Now I see my one mistake. I shouldn't use word "greed". I should use the words "smart" "clever" and " financially resourceful". It is much closer to the truth.

And I somewhat care to defend my opinion, but this game is still indifferent to me no matter what you still believe.

Damn all that text and you still didn't mention who the hell asked
These porn game reviewers on this forum are always funny when they write gigantic-ass posts about how the game sucks, and every time it's either a case of everyone already knowing that or they're just going on some wild oddly-specific tangent that they're particularly interested in and therefore ignoring every other good thing in the current product.

Is there a way to make a custom sex scene list in sandbox mode and actually SAVE it?
I have no interest in going through creating the same list every time I play a scene. did see any save playlist button.
