The game is pretty linear, so usually you play your mission or have new mission in the walkthrough on the phone or just visit some locations and it triggers new content.

Iirc, it is in the canon (as in the tv show as the comic as well... Nontheless, the true canon for WITCH Lore is the comics, in there Cedric had a LI that becomes part of WITCH who make him step in the path of redemption by sacrifice himself; in the tv show this was changed complete it by adding Miranda, who in oppose to the discarded canon LI of Cedric is her exact opposite in personality. With this last update with the fate of Miranda as "unknown" it would be the most major WTF?! if that character appears now in the story.
