To be fair, the "hard cut to slightly bellow the dude's gooch" shot is a massive boner killer.
Witch Trainer Silver - Update 1.43 (Alpha)
This update heavily focuses on performance, addressing long-standing android issues, and other technical aspects of the game that had to be addressed. Due to how extensive those changes are, old saves are incompatible, and we are putting out an alpha release to gather feedback from as many devices as possible.
One of the few significant changes include added multi-threading support, android crash fixes, improved assets loading, reduced overall game size (~30% PC & MAC, and ~50% Android), and more.
If you were experiencing performance issues or crashes in the past versions, we highly recommend testing out this new build, it should provide you with an overall better experience, especially on Android devices. Please don't hesitate to share your experiences in our feedback channel, and if you encounter a bug, please report it in bug reports channel instead. We very much appreciate all feedback we receive.
Susan's new model has been finished and is included in this release, putting a nail into the Character Overhaul milestone. New model includes dozens of new expressions, a set of school uniforms, muggle clothing, and three sets of underwear.
Hermione's gift section has expanded and now includes a new set of toys along with three new events. You can get the new toys from the item store and hand them over to Hermione in the same manner you can do with collars, or potions. If you succeed at convincing Hermione to try the new toys, you will be able to access them in the wardrobe, making the deal more 'permanent', in a way.
Additionally, Genie's model has been redrawn from scratch to be more consistent with other characters style wise, and to support clothing layers and expressions.
Web Updater
Another thing we've worked on this past two months, is a new automatic update system that downloads and applies updates (after confirmation) as they become available, including engine updates that were not possible to apply by our past implementation. This new method should allow us to rapidly deploy game patches and updates. Update settings can be changed in the options. The updater is available for Mac, Linux, and Windows devices.
The return of Version Control System
Over the past few weeks, we have been working hard to add version control back to the project, and would like to announce the return of a public git repository. Yes, you have heard it right! You will be able to access development versions of the game, track the changes live, and access a subset of git features.
Our new and faithful discord bot will post updates on the server each time there's a new git event.
The repository can be accessed via our website.
Build Archive & Unlimited downloads
As requested, we are now providing a build archive containing the past, and future game builds for all platforms. A link to the archive is available on our website.
Furthermore, you should no longer be affected by Mega transfer limits while downloading the game using our links because we share our transfer quota with all users.

Damn, my poor saves... Well, starting from scratch ain't actually that bad. They're actually quite fast with their uploads compared to, dunno, "What a legend". I wish we'll be able to enjoy the full game by december 2023.

Conspiracy theory: These guys are just practicing game development and have no intentions of adding more meat to WT. By this time next year they will be working on the next GTA while still collecting patreon dollars by people desperate for more Hermione.

Nah, they're quite commited to this project. In fact this is a BIG jump, from version 1.42.2 to 1.43 in 2 months, they literally worked through 8 versions without us noticing.
I have been a huge fan of the project for long time now, but I'm going to butt in and say that the quality of the game has been going downhill for quite a while now. Reason mainly being the art (other one being the slow content releases, but that can be lived with if the former is fixed).
Straight to the point. No offence to the new artist but I think there just is too big of a gap between Akabur's art and the new one. I love the mod but the new art is most of the time a huge turn off for me. I don't care how anatomically correct it is (as someone pointed out awhile ago when this topic was at hand before) if it doesn't look good.
I wish to see this game be the best that it can be and this has potential to be incredible, but the new art is just not holding the candle to the original. Just to clarify, the problem for me is not that the art is not at the level of Akabur, but it being mediocre at best. I know that this is subjective and a touchy subject in general but it can make or break the game for many, like me, going forward. This is a porn game after all and the art plays a big role. This game deserves better.

Yeah, it's totally subjective. In fact, Cho is a big turn on for me even if you dom't like it. Now that we've both said stuff that nobody cares about since none asked, let's just wait to see how the game developes or leave, shall we?
Good for you. The thing is that you can't expect things to change if you don't speak out even though "none asked". I'll leave this at that.

Nobody is going to change a game that works and people like just because a few people, like you, wants it to change. If we're here it's because we prefer silver studios work than akabur, that's why this is a 488 pages thread while Akabur's version is 17. If we didn't, we wouldn't be here. If you don't like it, leave. Simple as that.
Akabur's game is ancient and it's not in active development. What a stupid thing to say. You just left your brain in another room while writing this post.
