Just did the scene in the casino, afterward I can't access the menu. Can't find any info on if this has happened to anyone else, or if there is a work around.

I attached a copy of my save. All I do is enter the guild and talk to the headmaster to start the issue.

Hey do you remember what to do when. You are in the kings castle after you have snug in through the chimbny? Im supose to steal something from the king. I have tried to go the kitchen but the maid does nothing but standing there.

NVM I figured it out. I have to try to open the door only for it to say its locked then go back to the kithen :rolleyes:

I hope the dev will return. I mean, I've been offline for a year before due to various circumstances, it's not that long. Can happen to everyone.

Yeah but if you read his twitter he just vanished after saying the next patch would come out "this week".
And that was a while ago.
Also he could have said he decided to take a break for various circumstances. No need to go in detail it's his private life.
But just vanishing without saying anything especially when your last post was saying you were almost ready to update the game, it's weird. Feels like maybe he just gave up the game cause he got bored of it or something.

I would probably be ashamed if I promised I'd do something and then fled (if some stuff happened irl for example, or I just grew tired). Maybe I'd be mature enough about it, maybe not.

Okay, I need to get the nuclear option out there. I'm not outright suggesting we do it, I'm just saying that this might be our nuclear option regarding the creator of this game: ask one of the boards on 4chan to do research into them. If your wondering why I'm suggesting 4chan of all things, it's because two particular events.
1) The Bikelock Fugitive of Berkeley.
2) 9gag's Meme Rock #SmashTheStone
Both of these events show that 4chan can do good detective work. Check our Internet Historian's video on both of these events(the titles will be the same as what I titled them) if you have any doubts on potential effectiveness, then make your judgement.
Now, if they're alive, let's not harass them. I'm proposing this not because I want to force Stocking Boys World to get back to the game, but because I simply want to figure out what happened to them.

Isn't this a tad excessive? I don't really know 4chan, but I'm aware of its toxic reputation. Remember the kind of game this is.

Anyway, if this rubs the dev the wrong way, it might as well end up killing the little chances we have for an update.

Then again perhaps I'm just overreacting because I don't really know how this would work.

It's still excessive regardless, I mean it's the guys private life, sure we are sad and a bit annoyed he never finished. But it was his own personal project maybe he really grew tired of it and just stopped. It's a bit sad to say this be he does not owe us anything, so maybe he just quit without bothering to warn us :(
Regardless of the truth, just leave him be. At best you can hope he might return
