I agree with you but I feel as if once the pandemic started people were stuck inside and once the ran through the latest version of games the demanded more and more. Some creators like BD listened and started working harder to make the community happier so I understand if he is starting to feel the burn of that work now and I would be happier that once he comes out with this update that he takes a long needed break like 4-6 months because the man really needs it.
I agree, "keep checking every day" means no deadline. People last few pages are trying to use real world to justify some things, but in real life, let's not even talk missing project deadlines just showing up late to work. If you are late to work a few times out of the year due flat tires or road accidents or illness everyone understands. But after a few weeks straight of showing up late, your boss is going to start looking at you with a sus look.

Especially when he's pausing pledges month after month - you don't get new content but you are not paying either for all the work he says he's actually doing.
