There are many issues that I never bring up or talk about publicly, one of those being that late last year my grandpa had an emergency surgery.
As his caretaker it's been my responsibility to make sure he's okay and I take him to the doctor all the time, his doctor tells me exactly what to look out for. So when he was showing two of the biggest signs (Very high blood pressure and a sharp pain in his stomach) I took him straight to the hospital.
I'm not looking for sympathy, I posted that on my own private discord since the topic of the update came up. I was just telling them what was going on.
The simple fact of the matter is that I'm not going to let my grandpa sit in pain so I can finish an update to a porn game 3 days faster. And if you have any issue with that... then fuck off.
Well said BD. Ignore those who can't see past their own dependency issues. You take care of what you need to, and we'll continue to handle the Riff-Raff here. I for one understand a great deal what you're going through, I've got your back.

You don't have to defend yourself. The most important people in our lives should come first, the family and friends and especially when it comes to the most important thing for us humans our health. Most of us can and will continue to wait patiently and of course I wish your grandfather a speedy recovery.

You and I don't see eye to eye on... well alot but I also think it's a good idea to lock this until we get an update. The trolls seem to think this thread is a pixel equivalent to open mic night.
It's true that it's shameful to complain that you're getting for free. But DONT DO ESTIMATES, make a Trello page or some visual representation of your work so people can see your progress.

It's damned if you do, damned if you don't. When things go wrong and dates change people get upset because you gave an estimate, however if you don't give a time posters patreons and everybody else will non stop ask when the update is coming? Is there an estimate? Come on just a guess... etc.
These two examples don't even include the trolling with both choices.
Absolutely no one has reason to be mad at this dev. He has not charged anyone anything this whole time. He has kept in communication this whole time.
The update is coming. The world will not be lost or saved by knowing the exact date.
There is more to most people's lives besides these vns on this forum.

Go play another game, it's apparent that you are just to needy for this game. You don't make the rules for this game Dev or any other. He gave a hopeful time frame to release, with this update he had to push it back a little bit, so what....it's just a damn game.

couldn't have put it better myself. and if that person decided to cause havoc after knowing this now then seriously you need to slip in the shower whack your head and get a grip on life because that is F****** bullshit I get its frustrating but BD is trying his best like I said in my last post he's human just like everyone else ( and if you want to be a pain to say actually no I'm not do everyone a favour and piss off then) some people say something just to say anything and sound important to inflate their ego other people say something as they have something important to say. if you can't understand that people have real life issues and cant except a delay here and a delay there then you have to ask yourself are you even mature enough to be on a site like this. Grow up go play a different game for the time being, keep checking the thread but don't post stupid comments always being negative. The update will be out when it is out suck it up or piss off.
BD- I really hope everything goes ok and hopefully a good and speedy recovery I know the pain that's going on so I know how you are possible feeling right now so take your time and if you need to talk to someone about it then I would strongly suggest it. ( if needs be I'm available to talk to but just make sure you don't try taking everything on your own back).

I think for some, putting down others is the only thing that gives their lives meaning. They have to feed their narrative that they are better, smarter, "alpha-er," etc., than others because the alternative is too painful to contemplate. Sort of like the people who think they're being injected with a "5G tracking chip."
