You kinda missed my point here, the game has tremendous fapping material. But to my personal opinion the point that i am describing regarding the scenes angles and the way they look at the MC is something i dont PERSONALLY like. This doesnt mean that this is a bad game.

Thats all one has to take from my comment and dont just jump to conclusions and generalizations.

On another note, your answer seems kinda contradictory, on one hand you state that you dont want realism since this makes a story boring and without actions while on the other hand you say that skipping just to sex make no sense and one should just fap to porn. So, what is it? Do you like realism? You dont like realism ? Or you just made a bs post here?

I asked about the sound effects because i have downloaded android ports that didnt have sound fx that should havd had plus ports that black screen animations so i have to ask lol plus i quite like the sex fx, i prefer the option of turning them down or off if i need then no sound.

Opinions are obviously allowed here when talking about the game and subject matter - just don't be surprised when people don't necessarily agree with your opinion. Are the facepalms a bit much? Probably, but just like you in a way they're expressing their opinions as well.

With regards to the point you were making --- Some people enjoy the dialogue / some don't. Personally I like it that the MC's dialogue is measured and mature in a way.

He comes across as someone who isn't a complete idiot, chauvinistic, or someone who thinks they're God's gift to women which is nice because someone of his position (a highly coveted basketball recruit at first - later the star player on a below average or poor team) could easily adapt a God complex of sorts and act on his carnal impulses, feel entitled, and be the biggest alpha douches of douches.

Maybe it's not portrayed to those outside of America (or to those who don't follow sports closely) that well but the way colleges treat prized recruits in sports like basketball and american football is very accurate to a degree as it is in this game (personally I played baseball at a DI school in college some years ago and lived in a dorm my first 2 years on campus that housed the football and basketball teams as well. I saw up close how administrators, professors, coaches, etc looked the other way on a lot of things those guys did. I remember a guy who now plays in the NFL basically having orgies on a weekly basis with some of his teammates and girls in his dorm room, noise complaints that were never enforced, the guy had an Aston Martin that was "loaned" to him by a booster, shit was insane).

Point being, it is a little realistic in a way that the girls and people in general to an extent treat a star athlete like a semigod because frankly, that's how a lot of star athletes are treated on college campuses. Especially athletes in basketball and football since they bring in millions for a school (

OK, finally got around to having a look at this one, currently running through D1-4 & have to say I find the GF a bit miserable atm.
Note that she seems to pick up (from the image above!), so quite looking forward to turning her from her current dreary demeanour into what seems to be a more dominant (over other women) & sharing type!
Thanks to the dev, enjoying the game so far & have a fair way to go yet with!

I see where he is coming from. The girls in this game adore MC, which on one hand is understandable. He is the star athlete who is going to rescue their basketball team from the depths of oblivion. But at the same time, they allow him to do basically anything he wants, especially Jamie (as it was her idea). Now, I like Jamie (she is my best girl) but she isn't a realistic character at all. Would other girls, because MC is the star, let him do what he wants? Perhaps, but I feel like the GF of those star athletes would be more protective of him. Maybe she is actually a cuckqueen, as I have mentioned a few times before. They are too accepting at times. They previously said they'd (Jamie/Shauna) have to approve of the harem girls, but Jamie didn't mind at all when MC told her that Willow kissed him. Can she be ok with him helping her? Sure, but that doesn't mean she should be ok with Willow (a girl who insulted her) kissing him. MC up to this point has faced 0 consequences and can do no wrong.


Now, MC in this game is as I've said before is a bit refreshing. He isn't the standard creepy old man or perverted teen of most games. He isn't some bonehead "alpha" jock either or "beta" loser. He is a good character, but again isn't the most realistic character. He doesn't believe he is gods gift to women, but he absolutely is. He seemingly has no flaws at all.


Those things can be and are critiques, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are bad. This game has gotten very popular very quickly partially due to those things. Relatively drama free, ultimate harem game with a non-douche MC.

I mean it's a porn game...you need to use SOME suspension of disbelief. It's obviously not portraying how real people would act or w/e but that is because it is not trying to, it doesn't need to. It's a game after all. Maybe it's harder for some to do since it's based on the real world (no magic, superpowers, or anything mystical) but at the end of the day it's a story, of course some aspects are going to be overexaggerated: athletic, handsome dude with a dick as big as his forearm that every single girl wants to be with...also money. Realistic? Not really, but it's fun, it's just a story/game. *shrug* Who wants to play a game just to be a boring loser/nobody? That's what real life is for lmao (jk). It's not trying to be an actual simulation of the life of a college athlete, now that would be boring. And yeah Jamie does sound a bit touched in the head sometimes when she "pushes" MC onto other girls. Again unrealistic but you need it for the harem story. Just suspend your disbelief a bit and it works, there is way crazier out there in the real world actually.
To be honest my only real issue/complain is the fact that no matter how many times we turn Shauna down, we still end up in a 3 way relationship with her. I wish we could choose not to. Also choose to dump Jamie. Just to have a bit more freedom on who we want to "date" for different playthroughs and more options and stuff (like different routes/dynamics with girls). But don't really care that much just a minor thing for me.
At the end of the day, it's still one of the best games on this site with a really good, dedicated dev (imho). What else can you ask for?

I like the game a lot, but I sorta get where the poster is coming from. It feels like the MC rarely has actual human conversations with the girls. They do this weird hug-talk thing where every woman in the room immediately clings to the MC's torso and they gush at each other adoringly. It's cute, but it can feel a little superficial.

It's a relatively minor quibble though, and it's definitely not enough to have me skipping dialogue.

I really don't see the point of playing any game if you are going to skip most or all of the dialog. Am I missing something? I can see it if its a particular character you aren't interested in that you are forced to talk to, or its one of the many repetitive grind fests here where the characters say the same dialog over and over again before you can eventually progress in the story, but other than that, isn't the point of all of these stories for the player to build a mental connection with the characters in the game so that the eventual lewd scenes actually mean something? The only way to do that is through dialog. None of the renders or animations in Daz or its alternatives are at the quality of real videos of real people, so why not just go to any porn site and find something you like instead. No skipping necessary.

was there anything new added from Day5 v0.5.2.2 to Day5 v0.5.4.2 update. the new update is out today yes
