The day is half over (at least where I am) and with no sign of an update...I'm happy I don't give him two red cents towards this project. The reason the updates have become more and more infrequent over the years is because Braindrop has made more and more money. When someone gets a lot of money easily, their perception of money changes drastically. It's why lottery winners often overspend or why rappers and professional athletes go broke when their career is over.
He's only pausing pledges now to fool the patrons he still has into continuing their subscription with him. He's delaying the updates so he has more time to build up a reserve that he can release in smaller-sized updates throughout 2024. There's no doubt in my mind that he is pausing the pledges now so that he can milk his patrons even harder in the year to come.

Sorry to tell you everyone but the update will be delayed. I know I promised to release it today but I can't and that makes me sad.
I was on my way to upload the new content but as I was about to click I heard a faint meow. Not one to ignore a noise I investigated. My neighbors cat was stuck in a tree. I managed to climb the tree and rescue the cat but on my way back to my PC a bus full of people crashed into an orphanage, exploding into a ball of flames. Not one to ignore people in need I rushed into the burning building. I pulled every single person out of there including their puppy. After all it was an orphan too.
Now I was bound and determined to click that upload button but lo and behold I got hit by a car. I now have 65 broken bones, 14 ruptured organs, severe concussion, flat tire, low mortgage rates, and in a coma. My nurse, her name is MacKenzie, is currently writing this as I tell her.
But yeah, thank you for staying subbed to me. I know its not what you want to hear but I'll try to get the update out by the end of 2023.
