Huh... Didn't know this would be a possible block for the scene, but yes, having intercourse in a highly frequented parking space might be considered a bit out of the ordinary - or "crazy".

Penny isn't trans in my save.
I wasn't sure if trans matters or not, it doesn't.
It's really just that decision.

You mentioning crazy actually makes sense though. :D

So going into that scene in the parking lot will block further scenes with Penny ?

Does that actually block anything off? I thought it was just a change in how obsessive her dialogue was.
So going into that scene in the parking lot will block further scenes with Penny ?
Telling her not to be that "crazy" after the pool party makes the second scene with her in the parking garage shorter.
It's not that bad but something easily missable.

How are you going to compare eating in a restaurant with a pornographic game, it is so out of place and that is why the same logic cannot be applied because the context is totally different
however it doese give new meaning to 'All You can eat"

I see a lot of bad comments towards him, I really don't understand why so much hate

It's okay, I understand that there will be things that I haven't accomplished and so on, but I think...

If you are not able to design all those characters, program the progress of the visual novel, learn a little of the renpy language, think about all the texts, you cannot criticize at all

I also see comments saying that many things in the story do not make sense, well, what did you expect, my king? Is it a purely xxx work, or do you want a script at the level of the Godfather movie?

Relax a little and wait for the next update, after all when it arrives all the haters won't take a second to install it hahaha

Anyway, if anyone has renders of Willabelle, Emiko or Aubrey, please pass them on
Ok, I'll jump on this band wagon... I'm guessing that since, as a dev, I am "able to design all those characters, program the progress of the visual novel, learn a little of the renpy language, think about all the texts" then by your logic, I can criticize?

Honestly I don't like criticizing other Dev's. Braindrop does a lot of things very well!

The thing that pisses off people more than anything though, is that he has proven, and continues to prove himself to be untrustworthy.

He drops off the face of the earth and has no communication for a while and then pops up to apologize and promise a delivery date, and then doesn't deliver.

Most people would prefer that he take his time, provide updates as to what is going on, but not promise a delivery date until he was sure he could make it! Even better would be to promise longer than it will take and then deliver early.

If one good thing came out of having been a Patreon of his a few years back, It was that when I finally got fed up it caused me to start to think, "Damn, I could do this myself."

I am still working at getting everything perfect, but if I have learned anything from Braindrop it's not to over promise. If he would stop doing that one thing it would make a huge difference in the patience and grace people would give him.

I know that there are areas that Braindrop has me beat hands down. And anyone could jump in my thread and criticize my game for a number of things. My saving grace is my story. Everything else is improving.

Braindrop has great characters/models (When they figure out how to 3d print people like in Westworld, I'll take 3 Harpers please!)
Parts of his story are endearing(the latest Rachel scenes has me in tears)
He puts work into the background details in his scenes (the newest house is awesome, so much detail)
Are there flaws in the game, sure! But the biggest issue is the unkept promises.

If you promise 2 months between updates and deliver, then you build trust and respect. If you promise 2 weeks and are 6 weeks late, you may never get that trust back.

And from what I have seen on this thread, that broken trust and the accompanying lack of respect is what's at the core of almost every real complaint. (complaint that isn't just from a passing troll)

I think with criticism it depends on how it is presented. There has to be a clear distinction between constructive and destructive criticism, or at least that's what it should be.

Yes, there has been a lot of destructive criticism in the past, but constructive criticism is very often ignored, as are suggestions on how things could have been done better.

For example, the censorship of Harper's naked design or MC's face. The former was, to put it casually, scribbled over. When MC's face was shown, a black square was slapped over it. Minimal effort which could have been solved in a relatively simple way:

Harper's body? Set up the render so that Harper's body is obscured by the angles of furniture and her arms (or her daughter). This would have made it possible to tease Harper without having to put the render in paint and paint over the relevant areas.

MC's face could have been covered in the same way, without the black square. After a while you could even have established a running gag that his face is never visible in pictures because it's always blocked somehow. Used sparingly, it would have had a certain charm. It wouldn't have been for everyone, but it would definitely have been better than a square face.

Then something more questionable like the whole MacKenzie affair. A person who appears out of nowhere, suddenly takes over Braindrop's PR, but does such an incredibly bad job that people wonder if this person is Braindrop under an alter ego, someone close to him but obviously clueless about it, or just copied AI prompts, only to disappear just as suddenly as they had appeared. That said, I'm calling this separately now because I'm not sure if I'm remembering correctly, but at one point this person was supposed to have been able to unlock updates (via Patreon?). What I find strange here is that Braindrop is largely working on this project alone because he is - and I actually find this understandable - worried that someone will mess up his project. My question now: If MacKenzie really was another person, how is it that Braindrop is giving this person potential access through his Patreon account/data for the project without fear that this person will do irreparable damage to his reputation and/or Patreon account?

Like I said, I don't remember it exactly, so please remind me of the exact context, but the whole "braindrop lets someone potentially post their updates" doesn't sound like the braindrop we know.

Because it was bs bro there was no such person. The dude basically wanted people to believe he had handed over everything(his entire livelihood) to some rando that's been in his discord forever (supposedly) like people out here are retarded. Then was banning people calling bullshit.

Damn, and here I thought the black square was just Braindrop's invitation for us to get creative with "block head's" face. I remember several of them being pretty damn good.

TBH, a running gag of never seeing his face (similar to Springfield's location in the Simpsons) would have been a great touch.
