Perhaps but at least in Veronica's case one of the rare times we do see her in shoes she's in heels. If she's wearing those to ork every day where she standing up in front of classes teaching that's gotta be hell on her feet so she prollly takes them off every chance she gets. I know back when i was in school my teachers would take their shoes off all the time and walk around class for that reason.
