My theory is that, like many others, Braindrop started this whole thing as a hobby, unexpectedly found great financial success, and naturally, didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to make a lot of money with relatively little effort. Based on his work ethic and self-motivation to keep his word, I can’t imagine that he had significant success in his career or job before WVM and likely earned only a fraction of what he makes with WVM now.
When it started becoming less and less enjoyable for him, that’s when the over-a-year-long break occurred, during which he didn’t upload anything at all. I also believe this is why the changes (and in my opinion, the deterioration) in the story and visuals happened. It’s as if he tried to reinvent things to find joy in it again. Unfortunately, the break in the middle of the game completely ruined it for me. I liked the old version much better.
Since then, he’s been doing the bare minimum to keep his community paying, which is why he constantly comes up with excuses as to why the updates end up being a fraction of the planned size. Just think about how many updates with 1,000+ renders he promised, which in the end became two updates combined with maybe 600 renders, months apart, as if he never actually had those 1,000+ renders in the first place. The number of renders he supposedly created and must still have stored somewhere but never released must be in the thousands.
But honestly, I’d probably also prefer to do something for an hour a day that I don’t enjoy but still earn five figures a month, rather than working ten hours a day on something I do enjoy but not earning nearly as much.
Ya know, I kind of wish I knew this BrainDrop character. It would be so much fun to sit back and watch Karma consume him. I hope he is enjoying life now, the scumbag...

1.) Gonna use a shitty monitor to keep working.
2.) Has to give his dead-monitor's life story first tho. (this is not a joke)
3.) Rework is still a "go", describes full-name customization as an essential feature for it.
4.) A user "Condatis" basically fighting everyone in Discord by himself to defend Borpa. Unreal mental health failure.

Well the story part in WVM is something that i have not seen at any part....The update that came out last night has given some answers to a few questions but still story ?Not gonna call it that !!!WVM is a porn game where we have a young guy freshly going to college , and has this super mysterious power that when he looks a woman deep in the eyes that woma does anything for him and we saw it with the 2 star actresses Eden + Hannah ,the rich women on the Yaught, Ryann,Demetria etc and with all of the MC's girl classmates who from the moment they met him and he introduced himself to them they have fallen for him , the only exceptions at the beggining is Kimmy who hated the MC for the stupidest reason on the planet....If there was story on this porn game well Kenji would be in jail for a lot of years paying for the assault at bowling alley and not giving interviews..

This is why I prefer to play Eternum.. Long and consistent updates and released on promised dates. The dev actually gives us content, On track story telling and doesn't change the plot of the game, when he's out for 5+ months.

It's wild that after 8 months, this is the update that was released. And yes, I know he's spinning his story about having the other updates ready to go, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Have not played Eternum so i can't speak about it but WVM has not a plot so far, it's a young guy who is getting payed to impregnate women and builds a harem with his college classmates ...If you call that a plot then ok
considering how sickly she is she must be hella terrifying considering how scared Ryder and his dad were of her

Well i can't speak of Charles but Ryker was not afraid of her not in the slightest, he hates MC and moved on his plan to fuck with him even though she told him to leave him alone...and he is still alive so he was not afraid of her then surely he is not now
