I don't care about seeing new things from old parts, just don't want to have to go through everything again. I HATE when games do that. After about the 4th or 5th release they should have their shit together enough you don't need that. I certainly don't care about galleries.
You'll have too, since saves will most definitely be fucked due to the amount of changes.

Depends really, saves in the later part of the game won't necessarily be fucked by changes to the script at the beginning. Only reason you'd have to start again is if there are variable changes that can't be resolved.

Maybe, but there is no "love point variables system" (or anything like that) for LI's in WVM, so it is quite possible that a remaster will not affect the saves. But what's the point of talking over milk that hasn't been spilled yet? ;)

Considering saves from 2020 can't be reloaded and instead default to day 9 I wouldn't count on it

Actually if it was love points then I would expect it to be more likely to remain compatible, since there might be a point more or less in the remake but the variable structure would remain the same. Compared to if there are new flag variables added in the first week that are relied upon by future scenes.

I'm glad BD's doing better, but I gotta say, I've never been a fan of him redoing week 1 as that's taken a lot of focus off from new content and in turn, pushing him into a corner.
I don't know, I think it's quite a good idea.

You see that in a lot of games where the dev hadn't quite figured out their style yet at the beginning, especially with a dev's first game, and then so much of the aesthetic changes as you go along. I guess you don't really care when you play it update by update but I imagine many devs want a polished product at the end.

an other thing to consider is the fact that your first episode/chapter/hour/day.... is a dev's advertisment of their skill for a new player. It is and always will remain the most important part of a game to bring in new patrons and bolster interest in new players. From a patreon developer's stand point it makes sens to always have an eye on the begining of the game. In traditional game development the first level is often the last made and also (but for other reasons) the most throught outly tested.

I'll just come right on and say it the way I feel; this was wildly disappointing. I think it might even have been more disappointing to me than Cyberpunk was, because realistically at least THAT game had the decency to disappoint me within the first hour or so.

Specifically; the 2 most obvious primary love interests are Jamie & Shauna. For there to be HOURS of gameplay with scene after scene after scene of anybody and everybody, to get to the "end" of this and have those 2 not ONCE having been "really" in a 3-some with the MC is insanity. Even more if you go with the trans-option. What in the actual hell is the point of having M/F/T 3-ways if the total number of dicks in holes never exceeds 1.....I genuinely don't even know how to explain how massively discouraging it was to get to the end still nothing. Every bloody scene with those 2 I was like "ok, progress, maybe something will happen next time..." And not a god damn thing happens...

You do realize it's been 10 days in game right (albeit busy days)? Maybe a little patience and it will happen......

Well since there is no "gameplay" in this adult visual novel I reckon anyone would be disappointed with the gameplay as it doesn't exist.

It's like going to McDonald's and complaining about steaks. There is no McSteak, thankfully.

Something will happen eventually but yeah, like HornyyPussy said, it's barely been 10 days, even though some things move really fast, and some really slow.
At this point the MC has been in a relationship with Jamie for a bit, but the relationship with Shauna has barely started, and the 3 of them are still figuring out boundaries.
Even though I would personally like for Jamie and Shauna to do anything they want together, BD also has to account for players that don't like any of that, and players who go with the non-trans route.
It'll be a bit, but there is progress being made.

Clicking on choices IS gameplay, ignoring the fact that he's not using that term at all in that context which renders your entire comment moot.

The comparison was made to cyberpunk so my point was there is no way to compare the two... one is a game the other is an adult visual novel.

No, A comparison was made to Cyberpunk, a reference to how big a letdown it was, and said reference didn't include anything about "gameplay."

I took the post to say the poster was disappointed in "gameplay" Like they was with cyberpunk.. my point of view is that avn's dont have "gameplay" as most of the world uses the term.

We disagree. I also feel we are entering into off topic territory.
