Hey guys
This is just a quick post to talk about the mini-game being posted later today.

DITLO stands for "Day in the life of" and is for tiers 2-4.
It is a format that will allow me to show what other characters did on specific days.
This first one will be showcasing Harper on Day 15 of the reworked schedule.
It will be about 165 renders long. No animations.
(Today's version will be uploaded in 1080p as I swapped to 1080p around 70 renders in when I realized my gui and stuff was scaled for 1080p and I didn't have the time to swap all of it out.)

"DITLO"s will not be an every month thing as I need to have a character and events to showcase for them and I don't want to worry about filling in spaces to have something to show.
I do have around 8 planned out right now with more in the works and there will be a poll to choose who is showcased in the next one. (For tiers 3-4)

And as far as the actual update goes. I have decided to get through these things I had scheduled before deciding anything. So the two other things are the reworked character sheets on the 30th and the June birthday renders on the 1st.

My next "How are things going" post will be on the 2nd where I'll hopefully have something good to say.
And I am currently undecided on if I'll be pausing pledges or not. I will let you guys know but prepare your pledges accordingly just in case so you don't forget if you wanted to dip out until the update is released or anything. I completely understand and there's no hard feelings.

I have no idea why you assume that nobody should be excited because there will be no sex with Harper.

So instead of providing people with the 2000K render update that he promised months ago. He is wasting time with other stuff? I mean seriously. The guy goes into a "I can't work because I am sad blah blah blah". But decides to work on stuff that people are not looking forward to instead.

I dont know why he keeps wasting time on this stuff that almost never wants anyway....

He should use the little time he can work outside of his sorrow on the actual update and not these Day in the life of stuff...

But well, it is what it is

I'm pretty sure Harper is into the MC though? Didn't we get a scene where she was pretty close to saying something about it as well? Then got interrupted? I think the only hesitation is her daughter is dating us, wondering how that will go in the story, cause it's not incest and Harper is cute.

Well, those updates are meant for his Patreons, he couldn't care less (nor should he) what a bunch of whiners on a pirate forum he doesn't frequent thinks.

It's always a hoot to read posts from people who seems to think that F95 is the holy grail of VN's and all of them originates here or something. Given, it's a good window to advertise your game but it's still just an independant pirate forum.

That's true but at the same time most of the supports are in here right ? or am i just assuming cause i don't really know if patreon even has a forum format.. Gotta assemble somewhere, I came from a different forum 2years ago i think where i first interacted with BD there and followed him here.

Humans are emotional creatures so even if its free, paid or even pirated people will always feel cheated in someway or form if things are done against there ideals. One of the biggest reasons I barely type im normally a lurker so i see both sides so i can understand why some people are upset but i also understand BD side.. But if supports have a say in anyway i would say "stop telling him take your time and release when its done and tested don't doubt your work you'll only put yourself into a spiral of doubt and life doesn't stop for anyone"

There is TONS of places on the internet where people can download and get a taste of this game. Also the better the creator is to market/advertise their creation, the more people will flock to their Patreon. A lot of his Patreons probably doesn't even frequent this site at all.

So with the DITLO update, this may prove to be a double edged sword. On the one hand, it is - in a way - providing an update for people. On the other hand, it's further pushing the notion that instead of finishing the update he promised his patrons, he's instead working on other things. This was the concern I had when he announced the remake, where I was concerned he'd already be stretched too thin and be unable to keep up a production pace for the content people are paying him for.

Now I like the guy, I think BD is an all around decent individual, but I feel he keeps doing things that are gonna cause more problems then help him. I think this is why I was for him removing the game updates themselves from his patreon where they'd be free like he thought of doing as that would avoid any anger for delayed content and in turn would probably protect his income from drastically lowering.
