Game doesn't really need time skips yet. Maybe down the line when pregnancy becomes a more prominent part of the game but BD hasn't said anything on the topic either way
Braindrop previously mentioned that there will probably be larger stretches of time per full update (like a week each update instead of a day, with a basketball game played each week). There would be timeskips in that case as the full updates won't suddenly become 7 times larger

As far as game news there is no news at the moment other than there will be a release today haven't seen any mention of a specific time but it's usually between 8pm and midnight EST give or take
