After playing Chapter 3 I just don't think I can continue the story (I know I know I'm whining here but just let me speak up my frustration plz). Honestly when a dishonest girlfriend suddenly broke up with MC without any sign, only to return "ceremoniously" for players to decide whether you should rekindle this relationship or not WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO AVOID HER PRESENCE is already a red flag, but still the story seems interesting.
And then the whole Zeke and Keyla situation. Man, it just feels like a forced and illogical drama for me. Neither of them seems to make sensible decisions. Sure characters aren't perfect, we aren't perfect, but it's different when the game designates them as the members of MC's/your friend circle, especially when one's supposed to be your "best friend". And I have to agree with some previous comments: no man (I emphasize the gender here) will hide things like Zeke's pussy hunt from his "best friend". I have a good friend (not best friend level but still a good friend) who would just casually tell me about his sexual encounter both as self-boast or just things to talk about. It just reminds me of another "best friend" scenario from Intertwined where MC got fucked up by the former. Even tho Zeke is nowhere at his level, he just gives me such a backstabbing and envious vibe that I can't ignore. It just doesn't seem that we are given enough agency to either avoid the whole drama or clear the air as soon as possible except which pussy you can pursue.
Also, not cool for the dev to highlight the possibility of (at least partial) harem only to later silently drop it like nothing happens. Honestly none of these whining would happen if the dev just stated clearly that this game is romance-focused. Because the previous route explanation is so obscure that there could be multiple possibilities: View attachment 3861832

I wouldn't be mad (not exactly) as now if this is stated early so I could avoid this game when the game was still in prologue without putting too much emotional attachment to these characters. Many would argue that the exploration of the unknown provides a better experience than knowing where the relationship will go beforehand, and you can always quit if you don't like how the story goes, but I'd still like to know what I would expect before trying out anything. So even if the game doesn't up to my expectations, there will be one less whining bitch like me and there will be more time for me to try out different games. At the end of the day, this is still a porn game, not a detective novel where you need to keep as much suspense as possible. A piece of basic and clear information like what kind of relationship buildup the game is heading should not be too difficult to pull off.

Here ends my whining. I still think this is one of the better AVNs on the market, just not the one that caters to me.

You know instead of writing these huge paragraphs you could have simply summarize it like this:
I like harem games and thought the same with this one but it is not so I won't play it anymore.
Still it is good to see a sensible guy who just because he doesn't like it won't become a troll and rant again and again so kudos to you on that. Even frustrated, you have been respectful and that's a really good thing.

I get what you're saying and your frustration, but dev didn't realize the fallout or the fact that adding the harem tag would in fact end in the harem crowd not getting what they thought, or the happy ending at the end of that path. So rather than getting called out for a bait and switch or not delivering on something that was 'promised' he decided to drop it. The story is still there... and it is what it is, a romance focused drama where you choose from several LIs... and one is willing to let the MC have a free pass until he can commit to her, or not... while the another offers a possible throuple while also temporarily giving the MC a free pass to find himself and decide if a relationship with her is really what he wants long term.

Is it possible to play a manwhore path? Sure, but depending on what girls you are dating, it will end in a certain way... best case scenario you eventually have to choose between LIs in the end as that 'free pass' you get from certain girls is temporary. Worst case scenario, if you try dating the wrong girls at the same time, you get called out for being a cheater and dumped.

And tbf it was already obvious in the quoted original statement of the dev that his mentioned "harem-style-playthrough" is not hte kind of harem usual f95 harem fans are looking for. It was just a matter of communication/definition and not the dev being shady or something.

I agree with your post and fucking hate Kim to the point I didn’t even read her comments during the game and when they make us go on business trip together, just skipped through her scenes. (I have a bad feeling this game is going to make you get back together with kim) if it does I’m out.
Also even though it seems like the game wants to make your character a mama boy simp, I’m trying to break from that mold.
I wish they would have given an option to go out with Liv from the Massachusetts office instead of forcing us to Xmas shop with that bitch.

Hahaha Yeah, I think that's this dev's equivalent to the "nightly recap" before MC falls asleep. I hate it too. I also agree with your point about the trip. It would have been nice to have a choice to go alone.
