Honestly -and maybe I'm in the minority here-, just going by the sample pics I think the scenes look...lazy? At any rate, not quality artwork at first glance.
The NTR aspect or the whole "world-building"/open world mumbo jumbo and gameplay hopefully more than make up for it... DO they?!

At any rate, I hope Kagura expands a little. They already have a fuckton of "Upcoming Releases"; it is entirely possible that the most anticipated, big-hitter titles are still far away and/or getting delayed in actuality (and perpetuity).
As a sidenote, still finding it funny how many titles of theirs seemed to have had an at least decent fan-TL... xD

I've recently going around replaying some hgame like 'Sengoku Rance' and noticed how I loved stealing other guys' women myself (stealing Ran from Souun for example) instead of the other way around. With the numbers of women Rance has stolen so far, he definitely deserves the title of 'King of NeToRi'. I don't mind NeToRare, I quite love it along with my Vanilla. But the lack of 'good english Netori hgame with at least a rather decent gameplay' is quite alarming.

I don't know why Kagura bothered with this one. Art is nice but there is not a lot of it and RPG elements are there just to bloat the game. This would be better as adventure game (no battles, exploration, etc. - just story and events).

I always appreciate uncensored content released in english but honestly, comparing this to other games waiting in a queue to be translated: Alchemist Colette, Demon Queen Melissa, Ambrosia, Succubus x Saint... there's no comparison (I played them all in japanese).
At least now we know that whatever they decide to release next - It's going to be good.

Not my cup of tea, but it's a complicated discussion. I hate NTR and I too can't understand the appeal of self inserting as the cuck.

I can't speak for anyone else, but this is where people misunderstand folks who enjoy NTR fetishes I think. Because for me, there is no self inserting. I'm not playing this game pretending that I'm the dude who's getting cheated on, instead I'm playing the game as, well, the player of the game. I'm not a character within this videogame, I'm a horny dude controlling some videogame characters and making a female heroine cheat on her whiny nobody of a husband (or whatever the game plot is, I haven't played this one yet but will later tonight).

It's like when you play The Sims. I'm not playing the game pretending to be any of those Sims. I'm the overseer who's controlling all of their actions and making them do shit they may not have otherwise wanted to do. I don't self-insert as the guy drowning in the pool after I've removed the ladder. I'm the asshole calling the shots who decided that Sim needed to drown because I was bored or whatever.

My point is this: It's a videogame. It's not real life. None of these characters in any of these games are my girlfriends or wives or sisters or mothers. They're characters in a game and if I have the option to get them to degrade themselves for some kinky times, I'm gonna do it because those scenarios are hot to me. I make the sexy lady do sexytime stuff with as many people as possible. The end. That's about all there is to it for me.

(Having said that, I'm sure there probably are dudes out there who like to pretend they are the MC getting cheated on by their in-game wives. There are also folks out there who are into trample porn and getting their balls crunched underneath some high heels or some shit. Some people enjoy masochism. More power to them, I guess, but it's just not for me.)

you'd get what i'm talking about. The mc of in the doujin clearly was stealing a wife from her husband, he was definitely not the goody two shoes that usually get cucked but was he a villain? Nah. Would be nice if someone translate a game like that once in a while.

You are not forced to cuck the husband in it... You can progress by doing the guild quests and rise up by yourself. Making gift to the husband to improve him and your relationship and even turn down other guy in this game...

If you do that then there would be nothing left really. This developer was kind enough to put in that option for those who enjoy vanilla but those people wouldnt play this in the first place. If the elf doesnt cheat then players would be left with a bland rpgmaker game with one or two lackluster, no ahegao sex scenes since as someone said above 80% scenes is cheating/netorare.

After playing through to one ending I can't say this game is good. Other than the maid outfit the art is poor. Combat is better than default with an interesting set of systems but is never good. The plots are lacking.
The unforgivable part is how dull the sex is.

Oh the discussion about NTR exploded in this one.

First of NTR splits into Netorare, Netori and Netorase. Netori you steal someones lover, Netorase you like watching how she cheats on you and "classic" Netorare is "risky cheating". I call it classic because that is how i believe the genre originated from - a risky cheating where they get extra kick from the risk and the moment of being found out was also the end of the story. Liking one doesn't mean you like the other.

Also by manner of need i would split Netorare into "Fun" and "Sad". In "sad" one you will grow attached to the cuck and feel pain for being cheated for masochistic purposes presumably. In "Fun" netorare you are spectator, you will mostly play as female (male controls are meant to emphasize how clueless he is) and enjoy good drama. Everyone loves good drama, don't they ? I mean all those crap shows live because of them...

Good Netorare games are far and few, most common issue is that the love in question doesn't feel legitimate and the famale lacks personality . Then game boils down to "oh no i' cheating, i don't want to be cheating but i can't move or act on my own thefore i will just let get myself get groped and fcked" . ( no she is not getting raped, and for the notion i rape is not cheating).

Whats the difference between ntr and cheating ? I always thought ntr is cuckholdery sayin the person gets off watching his/her partner fucked while cheating is just adultery

The big problem with games that have both ntr and vanilla paths is that ntr paths usually gets WAY more content than vanilla, like whats even the point of adding vanilla when ntr takes 80% of the game.

Vanilla route is like a check whatever the relationship is legitimate, see if the heroine has morals to begin with.
