the game needs some fixes in the beginning the sprites of the mother do not appear and once I entered the laundry room I lost my save because the screen was blank

hi i need help. same bug as the washing machine but its another scene after the mother got her clothes shrinked and u only have tlekenesis or lock power and u cant select anything but back.. it stucks the scene wallapaper and u cant do anything

I used a cheat engine to play the game a 1.5x speed makes the pauses cease to be an annoyance. Pretty fun game overall reminds me of Majoras Mask in that you can't do everything at once you have to follow onequest path to the end and then at the end of the day everything resets for you to try something else.

So I made a script to unlobotomize the characters. It replaces all instances of "... \\|" in the Map json files. Just extract it in the folder with the exe file and run unshittify.bat

Didn't play enough yet to check if it breaks something but at least you won't fall asleep while playing.

Edit: Turns there are pauses after commas so fuck it, I'm going nuclear. The nuke script gets rid of all instances of "\\|". I don't know if it's gonna break shit.

I'm going to try out the nuke! Thank you.

Edit: The patches don't appear to work I'm sorry to say. Tried them both.

Probably need to watch for an update. There's a couple of glitches I found early on. Mother coming to wake you up, her sprite is invisible. While exploring the house, interacting with the washing/dryer machine causes the screen to go blank, and doesn't come back despite leaving the room. (Heard the door after some random clicking)

That's just what I found the first day, sure there's going to be more.

The screen goes black when I look at the clothes dryer in the second room from the left, downstairs.

dialog is slow with no fast skip and constantly doing ... a ... pause ... in ... sentences.

Also I got a black screen when I went downstairs after learning about the sin mechanic.

Unfortunately while the text itself can be sped up, the pauses themselves can't.
And there are so many of them. I tried to speed through the intro again and half the time spent holding down that button was waiting on those '...'s to pass.

There's a bug early on in the intro. The scene where your mom comes in and you're pretending to sleep, the sprite for mom (and the doors) don't appear. Her emotes still do, but nothing else.
