From a pure technical standpoint I can understand why progress (I hate this word, thanks leftists losers...) is slow as he has a high standart of quality but still... He earned after taxes ~25.000$ since the last release. There should be some money left to upgrade that 386 processor or does he still use a Commodore 64?
I don't even think it's a hardware issue now. The game's biggest problem is the developer, and how he has engineered this game to progress as slow as possible. There's so many inane, and unnecessary things that he adds that it just slows the main story.

Take a look at the following poll, and it's results.

Nothing speaks more volumes than this. It's very clear what the people want. They want to romance the mother, and see that narrative be told. But what does Gumdrop do? Everything, but that.

Well I don't personally and I know its weird to not be super kinky but I just want to at least attempt to get back with my wife.
That's understandable, but you're talking about the Father path though. That makes sense in that context, because you can either choose to pursue a relationship with your daughter, or amend your marriage. In the son path, rejecting the Mother completely invalidates the purpose of that path in the first place.

This game feels like a child, pulling the carcass of their dead dog around, repeatedly saying "come on Ralph, let's play"!

So make two diverging paths, even in the son path I'm not super into wanting to fuck my mom to be honest.

Well lads, here we are. The final two segments... and it's looking pretty bad. I don't know... Initially I thought these last two segments would take two weeks each... but it turns out it might be longer than that. We'll have to wait, and see how much progress he makes in two weeks, but if I was a betting man I'd say the update will be released End of October to Early November.

Only 3 more months to go? ^.^
Come on now let's be realistic it'll be out in 6 weeks, he purposefully won't finish it in time for October so that he can collect another patreon check and then he will finish it in October but wait to release until the beginning of November so he can collect another patreon check.

If you keep using increasingly exaggerated terms to refer to the work you are supposedly doing, maybe people will start believing your long winded excuses for your lack of results and pledge for yet another month. This is like an advertisement at this point.

  • The last enemy that shall be destroyed now rears its two heads: each campaign's dance mega-seg!
  • Another fast segment, this time "Master Night" from the S campaign, was steamrolled this past week.
  • At this pace, I should be able to tear through most of the fast segments in a week/half each
  • The progress tracker was recently updated for this past week, lopping off another fast segment and its chunk of renders.
  • I should be able to crank out almost two the first week once I destroy S_Sun.
  • "Judge", the fast seg I tackled this past week, is toast!
  • ...most of the fast segments should be eliminated in a week/half each
  • The F and S dance segments, being the definitive climaxes of their respective campaigns, will be attacked last.
  • With the roam segments completed, I've spent the past week ripping through the rest of the day/sunset segments.
  • Simply put, this will scale ALL rendering 2x, crushing the longer segments down into more digestible chunks
  • With all the new hardware fully operational, the slow segments pose a much less intimidating foe.
  • All machines, full firepower on the final two slow segments this week! I'll be tearing through as much as I can.

I'm waiting for the tracker to go from 1/2 to 3/6 and the inevitable fall out from that.
Unfortunately, there won't be. Here? Oh sure. People are gonna tear it to shreds. Over at Patreon though, there won't be a single peep. That dev. update has been up for a few days now, and there isn't a single comment. Only likes. I think this does a pretty good job at highlighting how sleazy Gumdrop is as a developer. Masquerading a "slow" segment as a "fast" segment until the very end. Don't even get me started on the current scene S_DAN I-III being marked as "started/currently rendering" since the trackers inception, and not mentioning that at all.
