I switched over to W7 and it worked fine. There are a few renpy games that act strangely, such as no text, but never does the opening go straight to an exception error.

So, the last time that I tried this game was back in March, and I have to say that I like how this is coming along. One thing that seems to be a bug, but I'm not sure that it is a breaking one, is after you have drunk weekend sex, your opportunity tab says you need to talk to Angela about past, present, and future. I had talk to her about these subjects before the weekend, and now I don't seem to be able to close this opportunity. Since it's early in the game, I just restarted, but maybe @SmokeyDots could keep these options off the table until they are needed? Anyways, off to start over again!

I bought the lambo and it says it will arrive "tomorrow". I bought the Lambo Monday morning but tuesday afternoon it didn't arrive. It's the third week of the game after I bought the lambo but still signs of receiving it. It clearly says in the update that there are new Angela and Bella scene in that lambo. For V.4a
I bought the car but it didn't arrive. How can i even unlock other scenes for bella,etc. When the developer didn't even fix that bug? It clealy said "it will arrive tomorrow". I bought it on a monday but tuesday came it don't even show up.
You have to go to the garage (button on the lower left) and there your Lambo will be waiting for you ..
Hmmm cool game ... I like this game ... for my opinion ... and maybe only me ...this game equal to De Lucaa Family .... i just realize to many potential in this game ... and when the second time i try this game from the start i mean ... w hen Ajay ask about ask female friend to go to gym ... You can ask Lara if you do her quest in the day 1.... Cool Developer .. i salute you

To anyone who can't hire bailey. I've checked a provided save file. It's likely because she hasn't asked you about yet. Go watch tv on any night at home will trigger an event where she begs you for a job. Then you get the opportunity in the phone to hire her. Then you go to Jack about it.

Why in hell are you playing Ren'py games via Wine? All Ren'py games are running native in Linux! It is actually a Linux app. For most of Unity or old RPGMaker games you can use wine (better wine-staging!).
Pls check your game folder for a file named "HighRiseClimb.sh" as long as you have this file and the "linux-x86_64 or linux-i686" library folders, you can start the game via your terminal (drag the .sh file and drop it into your terminal - hid enter!). If you get an message like "no premission etc..." check the settings/properties for the .sh file. Navigate to "access rights ( or however it is called on your Distro)" and set the mark for "execute file as program". Go to lib folder choose your linux library (32bit or 64bit) and search for file named like the game (in this case it is called "HighRiseClimb"), switch to properties and mark the file for execute. Drag and Drop the .sh file into your terminal and hid enter - voila the game starts without using wine!
This goes for all Ren'py games! Most important part is, that you have the correct library folder for your Distro! If the .sh (Bash-file) is missing, just copy it form a another game (dosen't matter which game) and rename it into the same as the file in the games library folder.
