you should FIRST make your concept and vision. And THEN start creating the game itself.We're kinda free wheelin at the moment but I'm open to ideas and suggestions.
For now it seems like you start doing stuff and you don't even know what exactly you will/want to do or how the story enfolds.
If you are sooooooo proud of your story and your creation, you should at least know the story and the kinks to expect.

since I started posting on F95 I've just been justifying my decisions. not gonna do that anymore. I have my ways and peeps who don't like my approach can go play sumthin else.
not tryin to be c*nt, just don't give a damn about anyone's opinion on what I'm doin or how I'm doin it. my way gives me flexibility and keeps me inspired to keep coming back to Daz.
With vocab like that, I'm not holding out much hope for the story.

I guess I'm just confused where all the vitriol and hate is coming from.
Like, I'm sorry my Patreon posts are upbeat, optimistic and show my excitement. There are a bajillion games here and I don't think mine is revolutionary or anything. And I certainly had no idea that enjoying what I'm doing and sharing that excitement with my patrons was a sign of conceit and 'self-congratulation'. Never said I was the GOAT. Just that I'm proud of the work Romie and I have been doing.
I enthusiastically answer questions when people are sincere. But when haters just roll in and start shit-posting my methods and telling me how I should do this and how I should do that, screw them.
So before anyone walks away thinking I'm a total bitch, try talking to me first. I only swing at the fools who think they are going to throw shade at me and I'm just gonna take it like a good little girl.

Congrats on getting your first release out! Characters look great. The art is really good. Not sure if this is the rendered characters in front of pre-generated content that had been discussed, but it looks really good. I didn't see any bugs or coding issues. The flexibility of the text box settings is much appreciated. The ability to tweak character names, etc., is also really appreciated.
Only two issues that might deserve some attention from what I saw: The versioning of the software is going to get people harping on it (1.0 is usually the completed game, 0.1 would usually indicate the first release); The French in the dialogue could use some tweaking.

Ok - then i try it a VERY last time:
Instead of talking nothing than hot air (like in OP: overview, or how proud you are [because no one cares about that]), could you do a "real" overview about your game? What's the story? what kinks do you plan (tags)? What kinks do you NOT do? Will there be NTR? incest? harem? etc...
Like all other developers do, instead of only trying to tell people about your feelings.
Sorry, if it came out rude, but honestly no one over here cares about how you feel, whether you are proud or not. Like this you most likely scare interested people away rather than giving your game a chance.
I am just honest - first i was interested about your game, but now, i am kind of scared away because of your behavior. I may stick around here for a while and wait whether i get answers or not and whether you change your ego or not. There's nothing wrong about to be proud of your own work, but you may keep it for yourself - otherwise it may look like you simply "cry for attention and headpats". Why do you do that in first place? Do you seek for boosting your ego? What do you want to hear as reaction? Have you ever seen ANY other dev reacting/posting stuff like that? Have you seen ANY other dev making such a non-informative overview? If you go against the stream you might expect some rections you don't like - simply as that.

You have to remember: this is a business. You may want people to support you - to pay you. So people have a right to know what they are going to buy. They are interested in your PRODUCT - not your ego or your person.

While I also find the way meepish presents her work overly enthusiastic, I also do not like you wanting to force your way on them.
Say your piece one time, if the recipient does not agree with you, do not force them to behave the way you like (because this is what is happening now with your last post).
If they like to interact with their community this way, it is up to them. There will be people that are totaly on board with such an interaction.
You forcing the issue just comes of as rude, at least to me.

I am not forcing any issue to anyone - i just take up the devs own words and asked for answers.

The whole character name change thing was actually something Romie kept from his own game, and it seemed like a smart way to stay in Patreon's good graces.
As for the version names, I'm not really in charge of that. Romie handles all the Renpy stuff. I'm just the art person. So, I don't have much say in how he decides to handle that.
And the French? As far as I know, Romie doesn't speak French. It's probably some Google Translate magic he's using. But if you speak French and have suggestions to make it sound better, I'm all ears! I'd love to maybe tweak it in a future update if it makes more authentic!

yes. if you hit escape during the game, there is a menu on the left that says 'characters', you can change all kindsa stuff in there.
