the orc battle(in the sewer) keeps repeating......is it a bug or because i used cheat codes?i took male soldier class

They nerfed everyone's HP but left the weapons and armor from earlier versions untouched. Greatsword had 190 ATK in 3.7. Yes, this means wolves, spiders etc can go down with one greatsword hit. If it feels like cheating to you, change class and whatever happens, do not attach Mark of the Hero to the GS.

Thats why it feels to easy... is there a patch or something, to restore the old difficult? It was a really great and challanging game, but now...

And why don't attach the Mark of Hero the the GS? is there a bug or something?

It's been 2 days since releasing 4.0. Nobody has made a difficulty patch yet but hopefully they will. You don't attach the Mark of Hero the the GS because the way the game is balanced now, fighting becomes extremely easy if you do.

Anyone have a tip on how to do the lockpick minigame? Does strength factor in a lot and is the angle that I need very precise? My lockpicks always break after 2 attempts.

There are 3 perks in the center of the perk tree that make lockpicking easier. So far I've only picked easy chests and metal (medium difficulty?) chests without much issue. You just have to slowly move left or right and quickly tap the unlock button to see if it moves, if it doesn't then move slightly further in the direction you're going. You never want to hold the unlock button down for long until you find the sweet spot. It's exactly like oblivion/skyrim/fallout which works pretty well for me haha, spent way too much time lockpicking in those games.

I remember playing this a couple of months ago on something like a 0.6 version. The combat was so satisfying. Hope they added some more depth to it. Gotta try it out again. Sould I play with a male this time? I am really coming back for the combat though so I guess it doesn't matter.

Edit: Have you guys got any mods to recommend that can improve on the combat?

anyone know when is the last updates gonna be because in this updates they enhanced the ending maybe in next updates they will add other ending basically i like to play the game after all the updates has finished ya i know the story is complete still i just wanna know

I modified the rpg_managers.js but it's not enough, unfortunately...

I love this game, but there's so much content in it atm combined with the game sometimes needing a new save in order to enjoy the new content that I think they should probably consider rounding up the game and move on to a new project.

Maybe a sequel if they don't want to abandon the world/characters they created. But I do think Roundscape is getting a bit too bloated for it's own good.

Is there anyway to make use of the new perk talent tree when using an older version save? A way to reset or save edit back to a base so one can choose from the beginning?

Male and female character scenes play out differently and males get some unique scenes females don't so why not. As for combat, everyone's HP got nerfed with 4.0 so you can complete almost every fight in 2 turns (1 with a bit of luck), 3-4 if dealing with a boss. Less fun overall.

The only thing I've noticed different so far is that I didn't get a prompt to set the difficulty after the tutorial like before, and I think it might've been set at easy automatically. Granted I'm not very far into the game yet, so maybe the combat differences are only noticeable later in the game.

Previous one ran just fine.
No changes made to OS or hardware.
